  1. I'm just amazed Harden could jump and land on his feet. Didn't know he could do that.
  2. Middleton kinda absent so far. Six quick points from Bryn Forbes would be nice.
  3. Bucks are the better team when they drive and when Lopez gets involved. Way worse when it's one guy trying to do it by themselves. If they stay in attack mode they'll be just fine. Driving gives the Bucks success from 3 and not the other way around.
  4. Glad Giannis is shifting and wanting to drive every time. Took too many jumpers in the 1st. Hopefully we'll see some foul trouble from their bigs later on.
  5. Stop with these long shots. Pass and Drive!
  6. Is the Bucks strategy today to just take everyone one-on-one?
  7. Harden already 2-2 on flops.
  8. Khris is an underrated superstar when we win and the guy we need to upgrade when we lose.
  9. Giannis staying in the paint where he belongs.
  10. Reviews are traditionally where they call David Stern and ask him who he wants to win the game.
  11. They could put all 5 guys on Durant right now and he'll still take (and likely make) the shot. Nobody else is even getting the ball.
  12. Designated free thrower. Basketball's version of the DH.
  13. Crossing my fingers for the Giannis underhand FT.
  14. Snapper I've had the same thought. Even if they win the Finals I'll feel like its despite his coaching not because of it. I'm presuming if the Bucks were up 50 points at halftime still nobody would be optimistic about this game.
  15. Mine did the same thing on the interstate once. I'll never buy low-profile tires again, so hard to tell when the air is low. I'll never buy another Hyundai, either, but that's a different matter.
  16. Miami wouldn't have gotten near as far last year without great coaching. Or Atlanta this year. Understandable since we all come from the baseball world to think that coaching doesn't matter. Two games ago the Bucks were getting a lot of high-percentage looks from 3 and that doesn't just happen.
  17. They Wisconsin'd it.
  18. Kyrie out for the game. Apparently in so much pain he wouldn't even let trainers touch the ankle.
  19. Well they've had three games now to figure out why they've stunk so bad. The biggest knock on Budenholzer is that he'd never made adjustments, so I guess this is his chance to prove otherwise.
  20. Washington would also be a good trade candidate. Or maybe Miami if Tua isn't good right away.
  21. Why is Toonsis the Driving Cat in my head right now?
  22. So is this the crypto drop come early or just a bump in the road? Now that I've lost whatever gains I made since late March, I'm unsure of just how heavily I should still be in crypto compared to normal stocks. Right now all I own for regular stocks is a college-apartment REIT and a nickel miner (my IRA I'm not wanting to move from a good fund I have). Both have been doing great, but with these inflation numbers I'm hesitant to be as active as I usually am. And speaking of, what do you all tend to focus on when inflation is spiking the way it has? Or is inflation mostly just about not holding much cash?
  23. This "let Giannis do it all" offensive strategy is killing this team. Nobody else even has an identity beside being "not Giannis". The other four exist to just clean up his mess rather than Giannis being the catalyst to everybody else doing well. If Giannis is getting 6' of space at the 3pt line, Forbes should be sprinting around to get a screen from Giannis and make the shot. If the other team collapses on Giannis in the paint, Portis should be nearby to get the ball undefended or Middleton to make a high-percentage mid-range shot.
  24. And stinking this bad with the Nets minus their second-best player.
  25. If they just needed someone to chuck up bad shots, I could have done that for a heck of a lot cheaper. Since when does Brooklyn have a great defense?
