  1. Last season a Cubs fan troll joined and posted in several IGTs pretending to be a middle aged Brewer fan from Kenosha. His posts got more and more weird, and he continued to bring up his hardened Little League mentor, Coach Cooper, who stressed baseball fundamentals or else. I think Coach Cooper was obviously inspired by Morris Buttermaker. Pretty good summary. Poster related everything in MLB to what he did in little league, most of which things Coach Cooper stressed.
  2. Coach Cooper "texted me" (it was a fax, but he calls it a text.) He wanted us to know PBR is what he drank when there eas no Blatz to be found.
  3. Perfect use of the pen. Albers gave up a run, it happens. And yes Albers and Guerra make me nervous every time, but they usually get the job done.
  4. Woody definitely had the velo, but did he throw all fastballs except one or two? All he needed for two innings, but hope his breakaball will be sharp the rest of the year too.
  5. Well that means the nats will lose, and the brewers odds at snaring a playoff berth climb regardless Just keep winning baby Most nights the rest of the season someone will lose that needs to lose. Cards/Nats, then Cards/Cubs 7 games.
  6. The prognosticators were right !!!! Well.....yea. They factored in the desire to win.
  7. We didnt have a box to show us a decade ago, maybe it was longer ago than that? Idk. But its the inconsistency that sucks. Players, managers, fans can live with a low strike zone, giving a pitcher a big outside corner.....whatever. As long as its consistent.
  8. MLB.com You can follow the game there. There’s even like an app n stuff. Yes, we're not good at play by play here. Now if you have a crazy take or overreaction of some kind....have at it.
  9. As a stubborn member of the Arcia fan club, I'm even getting closer to calling it.
  10. Every post of his you/we respond to gives him credibility he doesn't deserve. At this point I consider him nothing but a troll and why he hasn't gotten a vacation is beyond me. If you don't like using ignore than just ignore in practice. If people stop responding he becomes irrelevant. Much like how the Brewers handled Tyler Cravy.
  11. Sure. Mental midgets the both of them. Barnes actually lost 3 ticks sometime in 2017. Never liked either of them, outside of Barnes in early 17 for just a bit. I’m not going nuts over Black. Odds off gaining enough command to close > 25%. But to still be an effective pen arm > 60%. No, you're not going nuts over Black. Calling a 30 yr old relief pitcher's ceiling "unhittable" seems reasonable.
  12. If you knew all this would happen why did you want to fire Stearns for not selling high on Yelich & Hader at the deadline? Notice he hasn't responded, and it's an excellent question.
