  1. I've watched all the shows. Dr. Drew is a class act. This is actually a pretty well put together series that I wasn't expecting from VH1. These people are really going through some tuff times and we get to watch it....Don't you just love television? Seriously though, it's a wonderful show for all those people who just beginners at drug/alcohol abuse.
  2. I hope the O's don't have to play Houston this year.
  3. Growing up, I hated Gammons....He was always on tv and he looked weird to me. Throughout the years, the passion for the game grew, so did my respect for Gammons. He truely is an icon. I'm happy to see him back on the fields of play.
  4. I agree that this thread is basically hearsay, but I was hoping that it would get us thinking about other team's line-ups vs. ours. I'd go with this line-up... 1. Theriot 2. Soriano 3. Lee 4. Ramirez 5. DeRosa 6.Fukodome 7.Soto 8.Pie You let Soriano see some nice pitches due to Lee backing you up. Theriot has a .326 OBP which obviously, is not prototypical, but who else??? Pie had a .271 OBP. I would say DeRosa (.371OBP) but he doesn't have the speed to be a #1. I like the Soriano, Lee and Ramirez combo. Lots of run possibilities with that 3some. I truely think that will be the biggest downfall to the Cubs this year.....inconsistency from the # 1, 5,6,7, and 8 hitters. The Crew's role players (those other than Fielder, Braun) outmatch those role players of the Cubs. Hart and Cameron could wind up being a part of the 3some for the Crew, but not yet. I think Hardy, Hall, Hart, Cameron, and Weeks (as a group) are far superior to Pie, Theriot, Soto, DeRosa, Fukodome. Just thinking about it makes me laugh at how badly the Crew is going to wolllup on the sCrUBS this year.... Go Brewers! This is OUR year!!!!
  5. THE CUBS AIN'T MAKING THE PLAYOFFS THIS YEAR! GO BREWERS!!!
  6. The movie..."The Replacements" is my guilty pleasure. I can't turn it off.
  7. Seeing Theriot hit anywhere in the line-up makes me smile. Would you rather have Pie leading off instead of Soriano? Who would you have lead off if your were Pinella?
  8. This is an excerpt from Northsidebaseball.com. According to Cubs.com, Piniella has named his batting order if the season started tomorrow. As expected, it sucks. Soriano Theriot Lee Ramirez Kosuke DeRosa Soto Pie Many of the Cubs fans are not happy with this line-up. I wouldn't be either. I'm thinking the Crew has a much better line-up than the Cubs. Soriano > Weeks Theriot < Cameron Lee = Fielder (I'm biased but I'd rather have Fielder) Rameriez > Braun (not by much though. Once Braun gets accustomed to the 4th spot, he is obviously better.) Kosuke < Hart DeRosa < Hall Soto = Kendell Pie < Hardy. (I matched up Kendell with Soto just to make it more relevant. I see Hardy in the 7 and Kendell in the 8 on opening day. Nonetheless....I really don't see how people can say that the Cubs line-up is stonger than ours. They have more contact hitters and we have more power hitters. ? What do y'all think?
  9. I don't know why everyone is so down on Hardy. When Ash and Melvin drafted him, last years number's were what they expected him to have during the good years of his career. I expect about the same number's from him, and I would expect a drop in HR's by 3-5, but he will increase his average, OBP and walks. I think that Hardy got the raw deal when he got injured early in his career. This kid can hit. Simple as that. He's not going to be a disappointment.....ever! My disappointment player this year (Oh, how I wish I could vote for Yost) is going to be Suppan. I feel he's lost some of his mojo and by July, he'll be our #5 pitcher instead of #3. http://t4.images.live.com/images/thumbnail.aspx?q=1487584236095&id=1edc98a68caf8ff6f4b6d0b29e1a17ae I hope I'm wrong though, cuz I like the guy. He's good peep's.
  10. If it wasn't for this website, I would be forced to surf to others...which just don't cut it for me. I'll watch anything baseball related that comes on FSN or ESPN. I like watching the Roundtable w/Dennis Krause on the TimeWarner Sports Channel. They have something Brewer related at least once a week. Oh man....I can't wait!!!!!
  11. welcome back to the show Money. Krembles will be called the Manager by July 1st.

  13. Ned's definitely looking over his shoulder....and rightfully so. However, they won't bring Krembles up...no way. This is Yost's team right now. Hopefully he shows well this last month and we go to the playoffs. http://re3.mm-a7.yimg.com/image/3970372209 PLAYOFFS???? http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/pimp.gif

  15. We can always get good quality pitchers via the trade or free agency. What we need to do is continue breeding amazing position players! Dessens and Ball-Four are definitely not needed, nor is Capellan's attitude....In Doug I trust!! http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/pimp.gif
  16. Go Pirates!
  17. Owings is going to Own the Cards!
  18. to all of you who say that Claudio is being told that he has a "sore back"....my answer to you is YOUR WRONG!!! Claudio has been nothing but consistent for the crew and has been one of our best pitchers all season long.. Why in the world would the Brewers organization, at this time when we need stability in our starting rotation, want Claudio to leave...we need him. You all have no clue and this is why our bandwagon fans get injured falling off the wagon so often. :hat
  19. I believe Yost will not be our manager next year. :hat
  20. Pathetic!!!! When are we going to start playing like men?
  21. I would like to see Hall bat 2nd in front of Fielder...leave Hardy at the 8. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/pimp.gif
  22. Pathetic line-up indeed. When does Fielder's suspension begin? At least Yost doesn't have Mench in there. Lets hope that Gross can continue racking the ball as he was in AAA. Here's an idea Ned....lets start a sub par line-up for Gallardo after he got rocked in his last outing....yeah, that will definitely give him a boost of morale. Ned...............YOU'RE AN IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck trying to find a job next year. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/pimp.gif
  23. Go Jenkins!!! Good time to be coming out of a slump!! CRUSH FOGG!!!! We need a BIG win tonight....Go crew http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/pimp.gif
  24. I'd go until at least game time tonight...if you haven't heard anything by then...well, at least the Cubs and Cards didn't make any splashes either http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/pimp.gif
