  1. I agree. Pay off the final two years in full to get prospects back. I think the likleyhood of Braun performing through his contract is low. I would prefer to win games. Not next year but add a couple games to our team when they are good.
  2. $1000 will build a computer that will play anything. You can probably do better than that if you try. The graphics card is a good percentage of the cost.
  3. Console prices are out of control and you can get so many games on pc anymore. I also do not keep up on games like I used to so I can wait them out.
  4. I think I might give up on consoles. I had to(kind of) build a good computer for school so I built one that can handle pretty much any game even VR.
  5. Ohhh, you mean he is secretly creating our robot overlords.
  6. and GMs trying to drive down the price to trade for Braun.
  7. I was reading up on him a couple of months ago. He seems like he's doing some things that could provide for the betterment of humanity and the earth but I feel like he's just a step away from becoming a real life bond villain. Not to turn this into politics but, he throws gobs of money at whichever politician will support his projects regardless of party. Basically he's a rich genius who knows how to game the system and can buy anyone he wants. That's dangerous. Like every large corporation in America. Pretty much. They support whomever gets elected.
  8. I girilled stuffed pork chops, steak, and chicken breast over the weekend. I still have no idea what those stupid Johnsonville commercials were referring to when thy said times when you can go outside to grill.
  9. I think this moves lets us trade Nottingham for a bad defensive left fielder who has no offensive skill except power.
  10. Sling has Brewers games streaming.
  11. How do we know they didn't put in a claim on him. I was under the impression they did because we were trying to trade him to them.
  12. I wouldn’t trade anything for him. I would love to have him back but it is a waste of assets to trade for relievers.
  13. Surplus value seems pretty useless. Straight value or WAR seems more useful. The first 3 years are going to be pretty similar salary wise for almost every single player. Yes better players will get more in arbitration but much of that is already mitigated by 3 surpressed years so the spred in salary over 6 years will be much smaller.
  14. No, just no. Stop it. It is bad enough having Clancy bring this up. Braun was a terrible infielder. Add in his chronic injuries and he is better left our in left field.
  15. Madisonians don't flaunt the speed limit the way Milwaukeeans do. Wanna bet? I regularly see people going 50 on a 35 zone in Madison.
  16. How so? Mine has any purchase almost immediately available online for viewing. I think what he is saying is A) You are not going to overdraft your checking account if use a credit card. If you pay it off periodically (daily, weekly, monthly, etc), you can always check your account balance online before making the payment. and B) Many credit cards have an online feature that will break down your expenses for you if you are interested in keeping track of that kind of stuff. So does my checking account. I would think that is more useful to track all in one place too instead of more than one card.

  18. Woodmans does accept debit cards. Dedit/credit no real difference if you have the money. I use a credit card exclusively for paying parking, which I get reimbursed every month.
  19. They don't even keep the ckecks anymore. They just scan them and hand them back.
  20. Puig was mostly relegated to a platoon after he came back up. Be careful not to overlook that.
  21. Is this serious? Because the team after these moves would be pretty horrible. But it would make Briggs happy.
  22. The difference between MLB and every other sport is the revenue sharing. Without more comprehensive revenue sharing all that happens is the money goes into the owner's pockets. A cap is the worst way to try make an even playing field in MLB.
  23. [sarcasm]Gee, you mean a slightly above average middle reliever would not make $7.5M/yr. Yeah..that would be a shame.[/sarcasm] It's better to put the money on owner's pockets?
