  1. Puig can opt out of his contract after 3 years of service time and go into arbitration.
  2. Other than the .777 OPS those are still pretty good. .869 would have been good enough for 20th in all of baseball and .854 24th in their respective years. Even the .777 was 47th in the league. He can't keep it up and will hit a wall at some point. I think it will be before we are competitive but let's not pretend he isn't still one of the better hitters in baseball.
  3. http://help.sling.com/articles/en_US/FAQ/Can-I-watch-Sling-TV-on-multiple-devices-at-the-same-time-13/?/?l=en_US&fs=RelatedArticle I found that shortly after posting. I since signed up for the Blue service. I was looking into picking up a Roku 3 anyway and figured an extra $50 to try out Sling for a couple months might be worth it. Ended up being about $130 for 3 months of Sling and a Ruko 3.
  4. Can multiple devices use sling tv at once?
  5. His WRC+ would have been 4th best on the team this year and his wOBA would have been 6th best. Just ahead of Aaron Hill. If you look past meaningless counting stats he doesn't look great as a hitter.
  6. I wouldn't give anything of value for him. He is old and we would be better off using any resources we put into t deal for him into lottery pick minor leaguers.
  7. Sub .300 OBP severely cuts into the value of 40 HR, which he hasn't reached yet. He is also 28 so how many good years will he really have? Edit: I forgot how old Davis is already.
  8. He hit the same this year as last year with a lower walk rate. I wouldn't call that an improvement. The increase in WAR is because he had more PA.
  9. Wow, I didn't realize just how much the other teams ahead of us saved. I knew we lost out on a lot of money by dropping from 3rd or 4th to 5th but holy crap did we lose out on the ability to spend a ton on a second or third pick who we could sign over slot.
  10. I am a little disappointed about the return on the Lucroy trade but I like the rest of the moves. I love getting something for Khris Davis. He hit a lot of HR this year but not much else. I like moving him to make room for a younger guy to play.
  11. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/instagraphs/yasiel-puigs-other-huge-problem/ Fangraphs ran two articles early in the season on Puig. The first was that he was basically swinging at everything low and away. And the second was that he was hitting a ton more pop ups. Those articles were mid-may. I don't know if he has corrected those problems since then. He had 13 infield fly balls a the time of the article and 6 since. The numbers are kind of small so a few here or there can show a large swing. Hard to say. I guess last year could be chalked up to injuries and this year to not making adjustments. He has been hitting better since May and has a great second half going. I would still rather get someone younger for Braun. Someone with more control left. I don't even care if we would have to pay most of Braun's salary going forward, although I don't think we should have to. I just want young controllable talent back.
  12. It was questionable if Arcia was ready. He was doing pretty poorly in AAA.
  13. Makes sense. Milwaukee was a National League city with the Braves.
  14. and/or prevents me from swapping out my battery and adding removable storage. Galaxy S6 was the stupidest phone ever made. They took away the removable battery and expandable storage and didn't add water resistance. It also has glass on the back to make something else that will easily break. All in the name of aesthetics.
  15. I wouldn't do Braun straight up for Puig. I would want some prospects along with Puig for Braun. Not much really sticks out about Puig's secondary stats that indicate he is doing anything different from his good seasons. Fewer infield hits and bunt hits. Similar batted ball and plate discipline rates. My analysis would be he was making better contact his first couple years with a .386 and .356 BABIP.
  16. Wireless charging for cell phones. Why is it such a big deal? You are still tethered to a cord. Metal or any backing on cell phones that adds to the price. Who cares it's going in a case anyway.
  17. I am really glad we didn't get Puig let alone give up anything of value for him. His numbers look horrible the last couple years. I would much rather see what we have in Santana then give Puig a try.
  18. That is difficult to imagine considering the personnel losses they have had and the lack of upgrade in pitching. I like your optimism but I have a hard time seeing where it adds up. I think, considering the age and injury issues with the most important pieces of 2015 (Braun/Lind/Gomez/Lucroy), the Brewers ended up being exactly what they were. Hey I predicted them at 82 wins, too, but like many many others I was wrong. MLB is trending younger. Lucroy & Braun are on the wrong side of their prime, the rest of the roster is at or below average (other than perhaps Davis, speaking strictly in regards to offense) and the Crew plays in a tough division. We'll see what the rest of the offseason has in store but this looks like a 100 loss team, to me. Pretty damn close to the same win % right now. .420 last year .424 this year.
  19. No to Braun at 1B. You all should know better and why. Just stop.
  20. Maybe. In some cases. They would be brutal to deal with in many places though. They would be horrible in many of the main roads in Madison. I would much rather have timed traffic lights.
  21. People that vary speeds are really frustrating. It's worse off the interstates where they slow way down on every hill and gentle turn but speed up in the passing zones. I admit I don't understand or like roundabouts. They are relatively new and unless you go to a larger city you may never encounter one. I usually drive really slow and read the signs carefully which is somewhat dangerous. You have to know where you intend to exit and that isn't always easy to figure out.
  22. Well Seems to me he would have been kept down long enough for him to now be a Super 2 and 1 more year of team control. Had 33days to start on the year and was down at least 55days so he'll be around 3.160 and not have gone past 4. Wily is probably a non-tender candidate, so I don't think his service time is much of an issue. As far as I can tell he's still arbitration eligible in 2017 and 2018 and scheduled for free agency in 2019. 2.8million earned on his 1st Arb. I'd expect him not to be because teams will pay 4-6million easily at the potential Innings eater SP. Arizona/Atlanta/Philly/and SD in the NL I'd see taking the chance on him. Minnesota/Chi Sox/Houston/Seattle in the AL I'd see doing so. Somebody finds an improvement and now he's cheap for '17 and '18. Gotta remember the FA pitching market this offseason is said to be terrible and maybe that is partially why teams are loading up on good Bullpen arms because 7Inning SPs won't be there and you are left with 5-6Inning types who give up an added run or 2. Well not technically a super 2. He is already into arbitration.
  23. You can't? You have to point at her?Have to direct it instead of blanketing the room.
  24. Stay in the right lane unless you are passing.
  25. You can't?
