  1. I predict YunE continues to start and we keep getting ridiculous excuses why we have to endure it.
  2. Into what? The fact he didn't get called up? Green got called up instead? We have Mark Kotsay on our team when Gamel is more than likely a better hitter. Unless the organization has something against him I see no reason Gamel shouldn't at least be up on the bench.
  3. Hairston on a broken leg is probably faster and has more range than YunE.
  4. Well at least they are not playing Hairston. That would ruin team chemistry.
  5. What are the comments about "not carrying himself well" about then? I still find the comments kind of odd since Money also stated Gamel was doing well on defense at 1B and hitting well.
  6. I posted this over in the in game thread. Keep in mind Kotsay has declined as a hitter quite a bit over the last half decade. Career vs right Kotsay .338/.408/.746 .326wOBA Hart .320/.475/.795 .342wOBA How is Kotsay a better option than Hart?
  7. I'd venture to guess that he has more than 30 actually.Good guess with 30. Yuni has 28 this year. Votto has 1.Votto has 10 so far in his career.
  8. If Morgan doesn't bunt so often the 3B is probably playing back more on that play and he gets an infield hit.
  9. Yuni is probably the worst part of the lineup but I didn't get that far down the lineup before seeing Kotsay. Yuni is terrible against RHP.
  10. Good if it helps us win.
  11. Schafer in RF would have been nice to see. Not sure why Hart needs a day off and Hart is head and shoulders better than Kotsay to the point where Hart probably hits righties almost as well as Kotsay. Career vs right Kotsay .338/.408/.746 .326wOBA Hart .320/.475/.795 .342wOBA
  12. I would rather see Schafer out there instead of Kotsay.
  13. Twice in one week about 4 years ago. I agree it isn't a big deal but it is going to get brought up every time his maturity is in question.
  14. He showed up to practice late. Twice. He knows when practice starts in the morning.
  15. So now we are reduced to just begging for one bad player to be taken out of the lineup.
  16. Ehh, much better than the typical "it is out of my hands" answer we usually get from high profile free agents.
  17. “I’m not lying, I’m not creating something out of nowhere. I’m just stating the facts. That’s something I should not be discussing with any of you guys. That’s something I should be discussing with the manager in his office.” You are right it isn't and it is. Why don't you stop talking now.
  18. No. This feels obligatory. It feels like being at work. Yup, a lot like work except the buzz. Like the Black Top.
  19. You say this after Hariston swung at the first pitch, before popping up. Hariston's playing really bad lately. YunE is playing really bad for the better part of the last decade. I will take a guy who had one bad PA over the guy with a bad half decade every, single, time.
  20. You put your best guys in so they can pick up the top of the order guys when they are not hitting. There is no reason to let YunE-6 play against a right handed pitcher. You optimize the lineup. If Hairston is not stating for YunE by the playoffs DPR is beyond redemption.
  21. We use Blockbuster Express a lot for new movies. I like going online and renting it then driving up and picking it up. The kids use the Netflix streaming a lot.
