Houston is a team that really makes me think we need to go for it this year. Houston shouldn't be overlooked. They spend money, but not well. I still think that's where Sheets is going next year. Sheets and a little more makes them very good.

The only thing troubling me about Prince is his .360 OBP right now. That isn't good for a supposed "elite" hitter. Of couse I am expecting a rebound from most of our players in the 2nd half. Almost everybody is playing below expectations and we are still way above .500. Please stop asking Hardy to bunt Please stop asking anybody to bunt.

Grab a ball and take your dog for a walk through the forest. When you find a fence that sections off an area the dog can't get to, hold the ball out and make sure he gets a good look at it. Then throw it over the fence and laugh at the poor dog. He'll run back and forth along the fence, desperate to get his favorite toy that sits just out of reach. Xbox editor Ryan Geddes took particular pleasure in this dirty deed. What a jerk. I like games where you can do cruel things just for fun.

Not really. We could pick up 4 games on the Cubs just by winning every series against them. The Mets lead last year was huge(7 games on Sept. 7th), not a mere 3 games.

So my wife told me she bought bamboo sheets. I know nothing about them, but told her sheets were sheets. She told me they are supposed to hold less heat or something.

I always preferred Dunkin Doughnuts myself, but bakery donuts are easier to get and just as good.

I honestly don't see Cappy as much more than a reliever for us at best next year. I wouldn't expect him to be fully recovered and ready to start again until 2010 if ever.

They shouldn't get nervous until they are down by 2 games with 2 to play in the season.

At the same time, Hart is receiving a lot of love, but Braun has been ripped on for his lack of OBP here. I don't agree with that at all. Braun has been talked up all year with a few people pointing out his terrible OBP while Hart has flown under the radar. When Hart was brought up as an all star, the same faults were pointed out. There are also much higher expectations for Bruan that Hart.

    Hall with a hat trick.

Neither was saving your closer for the 9th inning, but that doesn't make it a good idea.

It is when we have been in withdrawal for almost a whole week.

Why doesn't Cameron belong in the 2 hole?
  14. logan82
I think that $10M option for next year on Cameron is starting to look better and better.

I don't care if it works, I will still think it's a bad idea.

I just noticed that we have the umpire crew of death this weekend. Crew K.

I sent Brewer pint glasses to some dude in Portland on nothing more than his promise to pay. He did pay. It really is a nice board where you can generally trust people.

I think I will put a bid in on it after I buy that Lamborgini to get free satellite radio.

    Maybe defensively, but not offensively.

The Club level is good for kids if they are going to watch the game, but if they aren't I think the kids section int the Terrace would be good.

I finally found a good new logo T-shirt. One with patches stitched on it instead of that cheap screen printed stuff that wears out after a few washes. Got it at Kohl's yesterday at a nice discount.

Playoff teams beat teams with losing records. Tom Haudricourt Not really Tom. They should, but they don't.

I know. He would have to have at least 14 by now to even have a chance. FTJ, I think your expectations for Cameron are to high, but I won't argue with your grades. I posted my own grades instead. I also graded on what the player has done to this point. I really don't care if a player is only 4 hits shy of some mark. Bottom line, they are not there.
