  1. I would pay $3.2M to get rid of Estrada, oh wait.
  2. Yup, slow day for Brewers news and no work with the weather today http://www.hardballtimes.com/main/article/rules-and-quirks/ http://www.hardballtimes.com/main/article/rules-and-quirks-coming-back-for-more/
  3. I thought it was interesting to see the other players taken in the first round the year Fielder was drafted. http://www.hardballtimes.com/main/article/anatomy-of-a-player-prince-fielder/
  4. I have had that happen to me so I usually just logg in before going to anything else.
  5. I figure all meat I currently eat is from herbivores. Vegetarians should have less fat and therefore healthier. I would guess humans would be red meat. I have now spent my allotment of twisted thoughts for the year on this thread.
  6. Davis was pretty much demanding a 3 year extension before the start of last year.
  7. I like both of them. I think Bill is pretty good at staying unbiased. If you ever watched a WGN Cubs game you would agree that our team is way better than those guys.
  8. sgtcluels beat me to it. I would only eat vegetarians.
  9. Might I suggest a lobotomy? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif If she is a Cubs fan she might already have had one.
  10. I would guess 70% or lower are actually in Wisconsin. It is a good place to discuss the Brewers if you live in enemy territory.
  11. I'm not sure how much more fans would help unless they are going to go to middle of the week games. If I recall correctly most fri-sun games are usually sold out. I do agree with converting fans to the Brewers on principal though.
  12. I would guess that the number of people who lived in Wisconsin most of their lives to be in the high 90's percentage wise. It's not like the Brewers are a popular national team. I have always and still do live in Wisconsin.
  13. I think it takes at least 5 years to build a team if you have limited money and talent to start with. I think they are a little better off than we were 5 years ago though.
  14. Must win games in April? How exciting. I think winning 2 of 3 from a division rival on the road would be a pretty impressive way to start the season. Anything other than a sweep would be great.
  15. I thought Santana wanted a big contract extension to waive his no trade clause.
  16. I personally pay for tickets and parking. That's it. Nobody I know stops for anything except the game. I don't exactly live close either.
  17. I am not so sure about that. I mean, how many people stop and do anything besides the game when they are in Milwaukee.
  18. Yeah I want to say it was something like one pitch per plate appearance.
  19. The videogame market is an easy target, or was. I think people see videogames as stuff for kids so they think nobody will stand up and say anything if they try to enforce restrictions and taxes on them. I really have no problem with carding for videogames, but only if they are going to do the same for movies and CD's.
  20. It was practically a coin flip last year. Cordero closing out one game instead of giving up a walk off homer.
  21. I believe Soriano has stated he likes hitting in the leadoff spot because he says he sees more fastballs. Somewhere there was evidence to back that up.
  22. If it was strategy, why wouldn't we have seen the same things in previous years with Capuano and Bush. It comes down to either pitching your starter to long or going to Aquino/Spurling/ect. Sort of like deciding wether you want to be kicked in the balls or in the head.

  24. I see he is between .292 and .316 since 2004. I wouldn't think those are to far from league average to really cause much notice. I was just going from memory. I remembered that it was surprising, at the time, he would have such a low BABIP.
