I don't think anybody is saying they have to be moved now, but we have to either move a guy or expose him to waivers before we break camp. A catching prospect would be great, as long as he isn't a 5th year minor leaguer still in AA.

The guys I don't have on the list I think either have an option left or not enough experience to be picked over the guys on my list. A few of them are on minor league deals. If I am wrong on any feel free to correct me as I am sure I made at least one mistake.

I would rather the team deal Vargas or a reliever to set ourselves up better for next year. The real bad part is Parra. He probably has the talent to be on our roster, but he also has an option. He doesn't have enough of a MLB track record to speak of.

I think we only have one extra pitcher at ths point so I hope we trade Vargas for a couple prospects. Not high prospects obviously, but he does have some value.

Sweet. I guess I will give it another try. I tried a few times with my brother, but we got lag so bad it was unplayable. I know I had lots of fun playing Gears of War coop. Didn't much care for the rest of the multiplayer though. Sort of turned off of Halo 3's multiplayer.

I got The three red lights around Thanksgiving. It took 4 weeks to get it fixed from the first phone call. That was even including holding onto it for almost a week because I didn't drop it off to ship. During Christmas month also.

Disagree a little since I think Gross is our starter in LF until we add either a LF or 3B. Take out Gross and put in Gwynn and I would agree. -
I can't wait for all the "Braun swithching positions hurt his offense" posts next year if he moves to LF. I also think he will regress.

You know, this is a good thread to have under Statistical Analysis for future reference. Of course I don't think as many people would see it there.

His bat, if he plays to his potential ,would be incredible at 2B and merely average at best at 3B. We also weren't trying to "win now" when he came up so we had time to let him mature in the majors.

I am just trying to understand FIP a little better even though i doubt I will use it much. I guess I should have said higher FIP, but then again like you said a pitcher with low K's and GB tendancies would benefit from fewer HRs in general.

Looks like pitchers who relly on ground balls would always have a high FIP.

When you pay $50 you get 2 years in addidtion to the original 3 years. I am not sure if I would do the 2 additional years now that they offer 3 years upfront. I would however do the 2 year waranty if the 360 only came with a 90 day waranty. My original Xbox broke and it cost $75(should have been $125, but thats another story) for them to fix it, so $50 isn't that bad of a deal. BTW, if you are going to do Xbox Live, I reccomend going to a store and getting a card to activate it. You usually get a free month(13 months) when you buy a card in the store as oppesed to 12 months if you just order it over your Xbox. I know it is only a free month, but do it for a few years and it adds up.

Microsoft did extend their basic waranty to 3 years. The extended waranty is for 2 years at $50 I believe.

Mass Effect looks awesome. I am definatley going to get it after Christmas.

The backwards compatable is by software emulation. There is a download for every game on this list. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm
