  1. I wanna destroy you --- the soft boys
  2. yeah, i had my eye on the laporta, but i wanted one i could wear...and i wasn't spending that kind of cash...i wound up spending 104, so it was a 30 buck premium for a player on the p50..not so bad...
  3. got the anundsen one...anyone else jump on this? and if you bought the lee haydel one out from under me yesterday, booo...
  4. jones is going to be a minor league free agent before he pitches 100 innings in a season...he's a reliever now... rogers, however is definitely still a starter
  5. yup...i know about those guys already...that rasmus crew is sick...
  6. stupid atlanta...everyone's from stupid atlanta---for those of you who don't know georiga, everyone of those is atlanta except toccoa..and that's practically south carolina... oh well, i'll see if i can get out... and yea, anyone from columbus, ga/phenix ciy ala. would be a lot easier to get to...
  7. watching everything get screwed up in the sec is not bothering me either... jim powell can join me in saying go dawgs
  8. Dave Bush was a closer until the blue jays converted him to starter...i'd depend on him close and late...and he could go a couple of innings...I think capuano would be a great reliever, but he's going to cost 5+ million next year...same deal as Vargas...i think he'd be good, but will cost too much...and probably wouldn't be too much better than mcclung or aquino... i think we'll see 35 million arms at spring training next year, and that's the best way to do it..
  9. watching hammy dance is not bugging me
  10. Who should i be watching for this year in Georgia? Just curious...i'll probably go to a bunch of games this upcoming season
  11. the weather is cooling down here...it was only 80 today here and not bad at all
  12. They'll let Cordero walk...he's going to get BJ Ryan money --- 50 million or so.. so here's what i see: Closer: Linebrink --- I think they'll sign him for 5-7 million a year for 3-4 years... and he'll be pretty good, but not great... SU: Bush MR: Wise MR: Free Agent MR: Tim Dillard/Zach Jackson/ Steve Hammond Long Man: Parra Loogy: Shouse I think Turnbow is gone...and i think you could easily switch out either of the final two MR guys with a scarp heap reclamation project...i think this is a place that the brewers will make some trades or sign some guys, even though it isn't as big of a whole as common perception has been suggesting...
  13. they had better win one of these remaining games...man, this hurts to watch
  14. joey--- the brewers are not fickle with position changes...i think that is well established...i see no reason why they would move braun off of 3b any quicker than they moved weeks off of 2b...same goes for hall...unless he resumes his super subbing
  15. i've been calling for hart in cf since 2004...nonetheless...i don't think we're losing much by having hall/hart at either...i don't think one is drastically better than the other... braun stays at third...at least for the next 2 seasons..
  16. the loss of lefave is annoying...but he was vinny rotino without the versatility, so not a big loss on the prospect radar...still, i'm with you on the rest of this nonsense..
  17. 2nd year of college...they actually cancelled classes at uga that day, so i spent most of the day watching tv in a dorm room...we finally went to see a movie just to gt away from it for a while
  18. crap...thursday is my wife's bday and i have a softball double header...im not going to be able t go...the power are just going to have to suck it up and win a game for me to get to see them on friday
  19. dennis can't be the ptbnl because hee was on the 40 man...if the deal was for dennis, they would have just passed him through waivers and traded him, right?
  20. i dont think i've heard a word about taylor from any source other than jim, myself, and john blackwell (wvblackwell)...i'd really like to know what more professsional minds think as well
  21. the ptbnl is gonna be someone ike kenny holmberg...or a low level starting pitcher...i wouldnt expect it to be anyone of great value
  22. i had taylor green at #12 last month...and he may move higher this time around...the brewers wont move him off third sack any time soon
  23. thought that picture looked too current to be d boon...what with him being all corpse-y and whatnot
