Villy with an 86 MPH fastball the other day. Wise has been a mess his last few outings out, neither one of these guys look right. Should we DL them both? If so, who replaces them. If they are having issues, why wasn't a move made before we DFA'ed Dessens? Who's ready to come up in Nashville?

It wouldn't hurt. I really think he just needs to get his confidence back, though.

When he got pulled last night, the first thing that crossed my mind was, "DL stint for Wise". When Linebrink comes back I think that'll be the case. Sure looks like Parra is up for the long haul.

I agree, but I think today's start will go a long way towards deciding whether or not Parra stays up. Yost sounds extremely high on him. Also, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that they'll keep Yo in the rotation given his success and the "everything matters NOW" mentality. That would move Bush to the pen.

I went last year for the second to last game of the year. St. Louis was real nice, the fans were friendly even though I was dressed in full Brewers gear. I was disappointed in the stadium, however. The seats weren't very good, they were close together, and the view from upper grand was partially obstructed (didn't say they would be, they weren't the "worst" seats in the house). Overall I was underwhelmed by it. Later, this season, as I was sitting in Miller Park for a Brewers/Cards game, I asked the Cardinals fan sitting next to me what they thought of Miller Park. "It's nice, but not as nice as Busch Stadium." To each their own, I guess.

Depends what they would want. I'd give up Zack Jack and Escobar for Dye right now, no doubt. That would give us options with 2B as well.

You know, we could also get a bopping OF and move Hall to 2B for the rest of the year. Might be easier to get an impact OF than a 2B.

I was the President of the Mike Birkbeck Fan Club when I was in 8th grade (1987). I went to a game, down by the dugout, flagged him down and asked him to sign an autograph- told him I was president of his fan club. His response- "I don't care, kid." Stay classy, Mark.

B is what does it for me. I don't dislike him, I just expect more out of him. Lately Mench has been coming through with some nice hits so you haven't heard me blasting him.

It's only at specific stands, like on the third base concourse in a portable stand. There you can also get your brats dipped in hot secret sauce with hot sauerkraut. The only place to go. Chorizo's are fricking good, too. They will make it in a tortilla with fresh pico de gallo. Yum.

Here's a crazy idea- why don't we let Parra take his rotation spot and move Cappy to the pen as the #1 lefty, use Shouse as a LOOGY only? It wouldn't hurt to try. Also, did I miss something? I thought Sheets was starting last night.

I am probably in the minority thinking the overall crystal ball for Braun is TOO LOW. He's going to be much better for average and gap power than Sickels predicted.
