    If there is a rain delay, I hope it is a -rain out- and not just a few hours wait. I'd like to see the game pushed back a day if it indeed does rain. Quite simply, I think it would benefit CC and the rest of the staff and perhaps do Hart some good too. Just my wandering thoughts, but 60% chance of rain was mentioned and it got me to thinking. Anyhow- Just thinking how rain could have an affect on -my- team in October is a real hoot! Welcome to October Brewers Fans! It's good to be back. It's nice to create -new- post season memories.

    Sometimes I feel like doing way off the wall things out in public. For example In a grocery store or someplace crowded and rather quiet, pull out my phone, place a fake call, ask to speak with the dog and start barking. Grab one of the microphones found at cash registers and then yell: "Swing and a drive to left and deep! Get up! Get up!....." Grab someone else's grocery cart and run down the aisle I have others, trust me.

    Hang on. Is there some strange parking thing going on for the play off games I am unaware of? I am going to the game on Sunday but I don't have a parking pass. Is this a problem? can't I just purchase parking in the general lot like normal?

    I'm going to get an empty coffee can and knock on doors asking for donations. I figure it'll take me around 150 million doors to knock on, so I'd best get going if I want to be done by first pitch Wednesday.

    I was just at the Fan Zone at Miller Park. The line to get in was around 20 minutes waiting time, Playoff hats, pennants, and bumper stickers were sold out. Sweatshirts were not there and won't be until Tuesday, and the only T shirts left after I got one were children's sizes. The representative for the Fan Zone told everyone that the shop hoped to have an additional 1,000 T-shirts tomorrow and some Sweatshirts. Other than that, they were not too optimistic at all. They seem to be running out of everything as soon as it hits the doors.

    Josh Beckett has apparently strained an Oblique muscle and may very well be unavailable for the first round of the playoffs. This was reported on baseball Tonight (ESPN) on Sunday evening.

    If the Brewers are not in that game, sell those puppies for as much as humanly possible. Who knows, perhaps enough to pay off a bill or get a TV or computer or a junker used car? I'd sell.

    I was able to get three tickets. I had intended on taking my wife and daughter to the game but Mary seems to think that since this is a school night we'd need to leave quite early thus making it no fun for me. Therefore, she suggested I try to find two people to go with me. If you wanna hang out with me for a game, I have two seats available in section 206. First one of ya to lemmie know can come along with me. I'd hope someone could drive, but if not, I can. Perhaps a small tailgate in the parking lot?
