  1. Oh Great. Then we get to hear another tirade from Bill Hall's agent for not having an everyday position.
  2. Thanks for the condescending remark, but anyways, if I recall correctly, Joe Dillon had a great game today and was probably the reason we won because of his offense, and the error he committed was overcome by great pitching. Does Joe Dillon play below average defense at 2B? Yes. Does Joe Dillon produce above average offense at defense? Yes. Looks like that decision turned out ok.
  3. I think Ned Yost is putting his players in the best position to win. The problem is when the players DON'T go out and do their job.
  4. How about Yost's decision to steal Dillon today? That got us the game winning run. I love the nitpicking manager game.
  5. I won't be able to make it this time, but I do recommend other people to go. It was a great time the last 2 events!
  6. I'm not even sure what a 2 hole hitter's role is anymore. Conventionally, Cameron would be a #6 hitter, and Kapler would fit well at #2, but with all this talk about getting power bats as many PA's as possible I can see that as well. At least this is a great problem to have. We have 2 very good options in CF.
  7. I'll be in Madison this weekend! Let's talk Brewers baseball!
  8. Fielders value is rising by the game now and hopefully by season's end he can reel in top notch pitching prospects or a big time proven pitcher. I'd take either.
  9. Exactly. There's no doubt with the Gagne money coming free and the good revenue stream coming in that we could afford Sheets. I think it's a no brainer to sign him even with the risk. You make your gambles on pitching and play it safe with hitting which is why I wouldn't spend the money on Prince and trade him for pitching.
  10. There was a reason Weeks dropped to the 8th round in 2005... He was unsignable.
  11. My False hope of Aaron Crow falling to us has ended.
  12. I express my gratitude as well. Job well done.
  13. If I were the Rays, I'd take Beckham, but they sure are in love with Posey.
  14. I wouldn't call it a joke, but there are other reasons to believe Cameron might be in better shape like you said.
  15. It's all about the manager!
  16. The Brewers have always had trouble in Colorado. My expectations are that they will take 1 out of 3 in Denver and 2 out of 3 in Houston and get redemption for their poor performance there last month.
  17. That's the problem with hot streaks. You can't really prove them with statistics with out getting a small sample alert. And that's precisely why you don't start a bench player for an 86 AB hot streak because it probably won't last considering Kapler's career .752 OPS in 2783 PA's
  18. Is it ok to say Branyan is hot right now or would that go against statistics?
  19. Is it possible to believe in statistics and the psychology of a hitter at the same time or is that pretty black and white? That said, I would keep things the same as they are now in CF.
  20. Think of all the things that have happened since the last time the Cubs lost. I've probably had about 100 beers in that span.
