  1. The Ortiz slump started last season, not when the Pratt signing winds started to blow. He was pretty dreadful all last year, so I really don't think it was the Pratt thing at all.
  2. Made or ape etc? I'm a little confused...
  3. What do we expect, inconsistent playing time doesn't work for every player. Some guys need regular reps to be effective.
  4. Padres selected the contract of INF/OF Luis Rengifo from Triple-A El Paso. Rengifo receives the call to replace an injured Samad Taylor (oblique) on San Diego’s bench after latching on with the organization back in late June. The versatile 29-year-old was cut loose by the Brewers last month after hitting .205//280/.254 with zero homers and three steals across 209 plate appearances in 57 games.
  5. Lara definitely looks a little lost in RF. MAYBE not a good idea to move him around the OF until he gets acclimated to one position.
  6. I do understand this take, maybe not fully agreeing with it, but I do understand what the guy is saying... I didn't like him doing it, and why take a chance for stat padding away? He could have jacked a home run, double, or whatever. Again, I don't really care one way or the other, but I can easily understand how someone thinks this is a bit disrespectful to the game.
  7. Chourio did NOT almost hit a homer from the left side... It was a fly ball.
  8. It took me a couple of episodes to get into it honestly...
  9. Hole? We have no stinking Hole, we have Joey Ortiz on a heater, prepared to save the season!
  10. Something is going on with Skenes. Not sure what it is, is he just tired of the Pittsburgh grind, and a change in scenery will fix it? Is there some kind of injury, or discomfort going on? If he is 100% healthy, I'd consider Made straight up, but then again, I'd change my mind 10 minutes from now. Imagine Miz, Skenes at the top of the rotation, then we grab Skubal at the deadline? Miz, Skenes, and Skubal, with Harrison as our #4? Ok, ok, I'm awake, I must have dozed off for a bit...
  11. No to Peralta, a BIG, GIANT, NO! He's been terrible, and is nothing close to an innings eater. He wasn't that here, and he isn't that in NY either. We can do a lot better than Peralta.
  12. Great to hear! I am slowly working through Marshalls, and should finish it this weekend, so Dutton Ranch is next on my list!
  13. Thanks for all the information ARobsBrewCrew! Much appreciated!
  14. I went to the Miami series in April, and I couldn't believe how many Brewers fans were there. It seemed like at least a third of the stadium were Brewers fans...
  15. I'm not sure having him go out for the 8th is the best idea...
