  1. Thank the Lord all mighty!
  2. Could Yelich retire, and we just defer his salary for 10 years or so? Say 5 million per year for 10 years? Just a hypothetical, not sure this can be done since he signed the contract, and I don't know if it can be messed with.
  3. What was it again that we got for this guy? UGH!
  4. Wish he was a Brewer... Some of that youthful enthusiasm will dim the longer he plays.
  5. That's a pretty loose interpretation of Hamilton's defense.
  6. Passive aggressive much? Why do 99% of your posts rail on the posters here? Even your posts that don't out and out call people out, still do. How does it feel on your throne King baseball101? Geez.
  7. Hopefully, he his performing on all cylinders come playoff time...
  8. It also matters that we finish ahead of the Cubs, why, because we don't like them, and they are in our division. I'll be watching the standings daily,
  9. People have been ragging on Turang for weeks. Does that not fit your narrative? Geez,
  10. Agreed, it was a split second where he is looking for the ball, then takes off running. Not a chance in the world he ends up on 2B there, even if running all out from the time he connected with the ball.
  11. This is getting ridiculous. To be 100% honest, I don't think it was a lack of hustle at all, I think he wasn't sure where the ball went after he hit it. When he figured it out, he took off running. How can this be a lack of hustle? Pancakes using him as a scapegoat for frustration is terrible. The media coverage just needs to stop now. I heard a local sports announcer on a radio station talking about it, and had obviously not even watched the game, and was just reacting to media coverage. Shame! 91K views · 1.1K reactions | Brewers manager Pat Murphy removed... WWW.FACEBOOK.COM Brewers manager Pat Murphy removed rookie Cooper Pratt from last night's game for not hustling. MLB Central reacts to some postgame sound from Milwaukee's skipper.
  12. If we are going to rely heavily on rookies, we have to expect such things from players like Cooper Prat on occasion. All of those things Pratt did are teaching moments. Murphy should have held conversations with the kid when those things happen. Making an example of him like he did was a mistake, and in the end, made Murphy look bad. Actually made him look like a bit of a jackass. His explanations in the post game presser did him no favors either. It was a mistake on Murphy's part, that likely cost us the game. Hopefully he has taken some stock in this fact, and gets better in the future. Not holding my breath though, he is one stubborn SOB at times.
  13. The End Of Oak Street Loved it! It is exactly what it is, a big, dumb, summer movie! I was entertained all the way through, and actually couldn't believe it had been an hour and a half when it ended! Just a great time killing flick that leaves you wanting more! DVD worthy.
  14. Just people being fans, and hating our rival. Why is that so hard to understand.
  15. True, but we don't have to be happy with "ok." Maybe we've all placed far too much importance on his success to this team, but the way our line-up is constructed, he just has to be better than "ok" since we don't have much else to pick up his slack. We have a lot of guys, who judging on their full season performance, are doing "ok" but we have no one that we can say has been far better than "ok." Maybe Bauers?
  16. Pancakes just said Pratt was pulled because he was supposed to bunt and he pulled his bat back on the strike, then didn't run on the hit to right. Pancakes actually getting questioned by the media, and looks a bit uncomfortable. Bet he wishes his kids were with him tonight.
