  1. Thank you, thank you, thank you...SO much better!
  2. I'm going to guess that some of them aren't actually Brewers fans, and are probably holdovers from the Twins page that Brock runs. There have been articles written over time that just can't be Brewers fans, the takes were that bad.
  3. I like these changes, and if the thumbs down causes an issue, I'll be shocked.
  4. Once the season starts, the over abundance of articles will push the actual poster thread topics from view. The articles should have their own forum, and they do, so like other posters, I can't fathom why they need to be in two places. If people love to read the articles, they surely know where to find them. I myself come here for the interaction, not to read the articles. If I want to read the articles, I'd go to that forum. So by the logic spoken of earlier, am I allowed to go to the article/news forum and start my own topics? If not, how is that any different? Selfishly, I enjoy coming to this site for the poster interaction, not wading through articles, which can be found in another section of this website anyway. I also do not think this thread should have been moved until a larger part of our population has seen it. Yes, it is still here, but it no longer gets bumped to the top with interaction, it will slowly disappear from site, and if there are others who don't like the articles on this page, they will never know it was discussed. That may or may not have been planned, but it sure seems like a plight to bury this discussion.
  5. Because there is nothing else to click on, the articles have taken over, especially in the slow part of the year.
  6. I feel like Super Bowl Sunday is just a way for people to act like they care who wins the game. It seems to me like a lot of people fake interest in the game itself. I never give a rip about the super bowl unless my team is playing. (2 times has this happened in my life, both times, my team won!) There have been some super bowls I don't even bother tuning into. I simply don't care. The halftime shows have become nonsense that only the young crowd can enjoy. I mean, there have been artists that are so big they can play the super bowl halftime show, yet I have never even heard of them. The entire build up is so commercially driven that it turns me off. The best thing about the super bowl is that it brings us that much closer to baseball season.
  7. I am 100% with you on this. I haven't said anything because I figured I was the only one that didn't like this, but it has been bothering me for months. I don't even bother clicking on any of the article posts anymore. They generate little discussion, and like you, I just find them in the way. Please re-think this decision for the good of the board.
  8. Would it be smart to do this with Woodruff? Probably not. Would I do it if given the chance? Hell yes!
  9. Just goes to show, you can never have too much starting pitching.
  10. I think it will all depend on how they look in spring training. I think right now, it's Mitchell, and even if Frelick outplays him in ST, I think Mitchell still gets the start. The only way Frelick starts out on the opening day roster is if he plays so great, that they can't ignore it. I mean, he has to be lights out!
  11. Where is the best place to grab a burger/shuttle coming from the North? (Fox Cities)
  12. That is beyond ridiculous. Why people use these sites is beyond me.
  13. I already pay for cable, I don't want to pay anything more to stream games. PERIOD! I want to turn on my tv and watch Brewers games. The fact that I am going to have to add some other service to watch games is ridiculous, and I am shocked that so many are willing to pay the extra with no fuss. Not everyone has 6 different streaming services, and not everyone wants to go that route.
  14. Does it taste exactly like the stuff in the restaurant? Sometimes, the restaurant branded stuff just isn't as good as the stuff that is actually served in the restaurant.
  15. Trading Houser now, after his 2022 season would be selling low. See where we are into spring training. I see people saying teams with injuries might need him, hell, we could be one of those teams with injuries, so trading him with such a low value now would be stupid.

  17. Quero is just going to keep climbing that list. It will be interesting to see where he lands mid season or end of the 2023 season.
  18. For me it was Isan Diaz. I really felt back at that time he was a can't miss prospect. lol
  19. I repeat: You can find stats to back up almost any position. All you have to do is look, submit what fits your narrative, and ignore the rest. Happens all the time on every message board, every walk of life, including politics. It's just how people argue their point, doesn't mean you are always right just because you were able to find stats that agree with your viewpoint. There are almost always another stat grouping that will show the opposite. It's hardly objective.

  21. You can't argue that spending money doesn't increase your chances immensely though. If that were the case, even the big market teams wouldn't spend the dough. If we were able to add a few bats and another ace to our rotation, sure, it doesn't guarantee anything, but it surely makes your chances better. So by your logic, adding Judge, Correa and deGrom or Verlander this past off season wouldn't have improved our chances at a world series title? It seems like you are suggesting that improving your team doesn't improve your chances of winning the world series. I mean, I get it, you always post tons of stats to go against what anyone says here, that is your thing, but I just can't get on board with saying that spending more money doesn't improve your chances. Spending money on the right players at the right time DOES improve your chances at a World Series, doesn't promise anything, but the odds surely get better when adding some of these high priced guys.
  22. I didn't go, but thought about it. Just curious, were they available to sign autos? Buddy of mine wanted to get some things signed, but he didn't end up going either.
  23. Might be a stupid question, but for those of us who are not gamers, will this show make sense if not having played the games? (the Last Of Us)
