  1. I am always nervous when Hader enters a game... Just seems like he is on the edge with every appearance. I'm all for trading him if we can get the right haul. I just don't have a lot of confidence in him.
  2. Sogard shouldn't be pinch hitting for anyone. (hopefully I'll do a reverse jinx by saying so)
  3. I agree that they have been disappointing and frustrating to watch, but I will agree to disagree that the eye test outweighs stats (which also indicate that they have been disappointing in relation to expectations, but it's certainly not a stretch to consider them at least average players still) I don't really consider a guy hitting .213 (Yelich) and .229 (Hiura) as average. They are having bad years, and any stat that anyone tosses out there to try and show differently is just kidding themselves. imo of course...
  4. I find it almost impossible to believe that Yelich is hitting .213 after 40+ games.... That is just crazy talk... I honestly think that knee is bothering him.
  5. I find it odd that Sogard was a mainstay in the line-up, then all of a sudden he's gone...
  6. But what do Trump and Biden do to keep their slim figures?
  7. Yeah, I try to get out and walk likewise. I just had a 1on1 with one of my team while walking outside. It slowed in the heat of summer, but I'm sure it will pick up now that its cooler, too. I've actually been able to maintain my weight through this WFH mode (even lost 1 pound from last year's checkup). I'm just looking to get rid of 10-15 lbs and mostly belly fat. That is where this interests me. You sound like me, that is exactly what I did, dropped 15 lbs mostly in the gut... lol
  8. I have always walked briskly 30 minutes a day outside when the weather permitted, and on my treadmill when it was crappy outside. Been doing it for years. My weight never really changed, just kind of stayed the same. This summer, at the end of June, I stepped up my game. I started jogging a mile every other day(just a light jog, I am not a distance runner by any means), and rather than 30 minutes, I jumped up to an hour walk per day. Twice a week, I started doing a half dozen 40 yard sprints. I guess it is kind of my own version of interval training. I take off one day a week from the exercise, usually mow the lawn on that day so I am still getting steps in, though I don't really count steps. I also started eating a little better, more veggies, smaller portions, etc... I'm not depriving myself, but have really cut down on things like soda, sweets and fast food. Since June 23rd, I have lost 15 pounds. First 10 was super easy, last 5 not as easy, but I am still pointing in the right direction... I wasn't really overweight at 5'11" and 190 lbs, but I was soft. lol Dropping that 15 lbs, I feel so much better, and look way better, just thinner in my mid section and face most notably. Lots of my clothes I was wearing in the spring fit me a lot looser now. I don't have to replace my wardrobe, but another 5 lbs, and that might be the case. I don't feel that I need to drop anymore weight, but we'll see what happens. That old 30 minute walk a day was good for me, but it just didn't seem to be doing anything, so I made a change, and it worked...
  9. He'll be benched for the next game, hit a homer, get the next game off is our motto.
  10. Taylor should get an extended look from here on out. Going to be frustrating to see him on the bench.
  11. the trade will be based on Urias, and how good he becomes. If he is a bust, the trade is a bust... Lauer will probably never amount to jack squat, Davies has been excellent, Grisham has been up and down. It all depends on Urias.
  12. I don't find it hard to root for this team, I will always root for the Brewers, rain or shine. However, I do find it hard to watch this team and remain interested. This is the least fun team ever. Just a bore-fest night after night. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  13. I wonder what it actually takes for Sogard to get in CC's doghouse... He went from playing every day, and sucking butt, to sitting what, the last 4 or 5 games? Not complaining, if he never starts another game for the Brewers, I'm 100% fine with that.

  15. Gyorko with no hustle to 1B on that ground-out...That is disappointing.
