Stearns wanted the bright lights of the big city. He got them, and all the crap that comes with them. Thanks to him for getting us started, but he's the enemy now, and chose to leave. I hope he regrets his decision to leave until he retires. To be honest, his decsion to leave is probably what put us over the top, as I do not believe he would have done the job Arnold has done. I hold him in no better regard than Greg Counsell at this point... -
Well, we've faced a lot of pitchers who have looked unstoppable recently, until they faced us. Until someone stops our pesky offense, and our bullpen, who is on a bender of their own, I think we have the upper hand.

I switched over to the MLB Channel coverage, which is far less RAYS friendly, and doesn't have the idiots (Jeter, A-Roid, and Mushmouth Papi) to put up with.

If they do split them, sure, 1-1 going home is great for them. Going 0-2 heading home though...

Close to winning isn't winning. Brewers up 1-0, I'll take that any day of the week and twice on Sunday. The Rays can get as cute as they want, if they are close to winning games but lose, good for them. That 2nd place trophy will look great in their trophy cases.

What a game. Just read through this entire thread, and it was fun reliving that game in the minds of the guys who post here. I can't believe this thread only has 35 pages though, I expected to have to read 50+ :) Ok, take the day and gear up for tonight. Need to keep busy, so I see a lot of yardwork in today's future. Again, what a freaking game!

I have yet to decide if I am going to hang out here and post during the game, or just sit back, let it all sink in, and enjoy the game from the comfort of my couch with no distractions... 1 hour and 10 minutes boys and girls...
