    I believe there is something to that... Ortiz had his offensive switch engaged as soon as he moved back to 3B, so since there is no other explanation, this is probably what influenced the decision.

    Doing that same trip in 2027, assuming there is a 2027. 2 games in SD followed by 2 at Dodgers Stadium. To be honest, this isn't a trip I'm looking that forward to given the current state of California, but I have to continue the chase for 30. I am 16 stadiums in, so this will drop me down to only needing 12.

    Does Murphy need a freakin' mental break? C'mon man, this is just getting cray cray... rewers manager Pat Murphy told reporters that Jackson Chourio is currently dealing with a sore thumb. Murphy misspoke Tuesday when he told reporters that it was Brice Turang that was dealing with thumb soreness.     Anyone know how Turang hurt his thumb? I'm assuming it was batting, but if not... Bruce Turang has a sprained thumb that could cause him to miss some time, manager Pat Murphy revealed. Turang was able to finish the game against the Padres, but it looks like this could be an issue going forward. If so, the Brewers will need to place either he or Joey Ortiz, who is out with a neck issue, on the IL before Wednesday’s game. The Brewers don’t have any additional middle infielders on the 40-man, but they could add Jett Williams, who will need to be protected after the season anyway, or call on someone like Freddy Zamora as a stopgap.     Although he remained in the contest, William Contreras hurt his left forearm when he was hit by a backswing in the ninth inning Tuesday against the Padres. Austin Hays took a ridiculously wild swing against an eephus pitch from Gary Sánchez and drilled Contreras pretty good. Contreras was able to continue after a visit from the trainer, perhaps in part because his backup was doing the pitching at the time.     My wife and I went to ONE NIGHT ONLY today. We were just looking for something to go see, and had thought the previews looked interesting. I liked it, some pretty funny stuff throughout the entire movie. The premise is just silly, but still a fun watch. If you like Rom Coms, this is well worth the time!

    Wife and I just started THE AMERICANS. We are 4 episodes in, and so far it's pretty good. Anyone watch this to the end?

    Probably because the guy we chose to start at 2B tonight, simply can not swing the bat. That's it for me, I never check out early, I'm a "to the bitter end" guy, but enough is enough. Tomorrow is another day...

    Yup, I know that, but don't and can't understand multiple fandom. It doesn't compute with me. Dividing or splitting fan loyalty just makes no sense to me. For me, it's the Brewers, and hate/screw the rest. I'm a baseball fan, and I'll watch playoff games that the Brewers don't play in, but I rarely watch any other MLB games during the season.

    Maybe, but if Fischer's bat is the real deal, they will find a place for him, if not 3B, then 1B and if worse comes to worse, he'll see a lot of time at DH. I think Made is our 3B of the future, unless they think they can move Pratt there successfully. I can see this being our future line-up after Turang inevitably leaves. 1B/DH Burke - Fischer 2B Pena SS Pratt 3B Made Where does this leave Adams? I love this guy, but he may be the first one called up, but also the first to leave via trade in the off season.

    Yeah, if we were a horrible franchise, we'd just be used to losing, and the effort it would take to complain about it wouldn't be worth it. It's nice to be used to winning...

    I'd rather just keep Vaughn at 3B, yes, even against the righty, and Hamilton at SS. Just drop Vaughn down to 6 or 7, and keep Bae out of a lineup he doesn't belong in. Worst case scenario, Turang gets hurt playing SS, then what? Keep him at 2B where he is 100% comfortable. The lineup tinkering is just too much sometimes.

    Could be, but then again, we don't have anyone that is ideal to leaf-off.

    This, it always comes down to the 3 or 4 people here telling others how to post. Every single time, then it starts. I still can't believe those posters bother to check into IGT threads when they feel the need to control the room but can't, but then again, I think they love starting the conflict. The IGT never changes, and it never will. Some just don't have the will or stomach to participate, and most of those people have figured that out, but some, just aren't built for the IGT and have yet to figure that out.

    How often do the Brewers have players skip Single A ball all together? Off the top of my head, I can only think of Wilken.
