  1. This has the makings of another extra innings nail biter... Either that, or a final score of 1-0.
  2. Broxton over sliding 2B on the steal, had the ball been caught, he would have been tagged out on the over slide. Dodged a bullet, but just another example of sloppy base running. Every single base rummer is important from here on out.
  3. I don't like Broxton starting today. Phillips has earned his spot, let the kid play.
  4. Not to mention, season ticket holders sell their tickets to the Cubs series frequently because they can rape the Cubs fans for ridiculous amounts of cash, and because they don't want to sit amongst them...lol
  5. I'm always amazed at the amount of people with that kind of disposable income, and time. Maybe in retirement, that would be great, but how do people with jobs and families find the time to make almost every single home game? The cost alone is prohibitive to most...
  6. Rollie Fingers, Ted Simmons, and Don Sutton say hello...
  7. Do ya think Domingo maybe could have ran as fast as he could on that one? Geez, sometimes he is just lazy.
  8. Well, except for Brewer Bob. ...and Front Row Amy, if she is still a thing...
  9. I sit behind the net 95% of the time at T-Rats games and it isn't even a thought in my mind. Sitting behind the net is smart, sitting behind the nets with kids is a MUST!
  10. My guess will be IT II, but IT Returns is a solid guess...
  11. Very quiet game thread today, I think people are recovering from the past 3 games... Buddy of mine refuses to turn on the TV today, says he can't take another one of "those" games.
  12. LOVE this kid! He keeps playing like he has, Brinson might be the guy on the trade block when we need to make a big splash, unless Phillips or Brinson can play LF and Braun gets moved. (highly unlikely)
  13. Exactly! Personally, I stay away from the Cubs series because of their fans taking the joint over. Why pay those ridiculous prices as a Brewer fan to have an unenjoyable experience?
  14. .. and the month before that. but still a good topic to discuss.
  15. Going into today's game with a different attitude. Going to sit back, enjoy one of the last few games of the season and reflect on the fact that we are still playing meaningful baseball on Sept. 23rd. As has been said a million times, no one would have thought this was going to happen! If we can scrape out a win vs the Cubs, that will only make the day that much better, if not, it's still baseball season, and in January, I'll wish we still had the opportunity to see live baseball.
  16. Nope, the author of that post continues to do it, and continues to be allowed to post here...
  17. How many times in the last few days has BA and/or Rock announced that Shaw has 96 RBIs and closing in on 100? Seems he has been stuck on that number for a long damn time. EDIT: YES! Up to 97! Jinx is over!
  18. I think he is pressing... His 2nd half has been forgettable.
  19. TOTALLY CRUSHED! I will take my lumps on the Vogt HR! Awesome!
  20. really? I know that, but this wild and crazy roster manipulation is sometimes too much... Broxton walked, great... Only to completely screw up a play in the outfield that Phillips makes 100% of the time. Who is to say Phillips doesn't hit a HR or game winning triple at some point rather than being removed from the game.
  21. This is a little over the top. Yeah it was a really bad and untimely misplay but it's not like it was a routine flyball that he just dropped. Honestly think Perez would have even gotten there? Don't know, but Phillips would have, without a doubt... Subbing Broxton into the game for the match-up was questionable. He is not the elite defensive wizard that Rock and BA make him out to be. Over the top you say, I disagree...
  22. just another substitution that didn't need to take place, but did because it could...
  23. Man, that was so pathetic from a professional ball player. It is just disgusting.
  24. I have no more faith in Broxton's defense. He can't hit, he can't field, this experiment needs to be over. Hand the keys over to Phillips and be done with it. That is inexcusable.
