    Not sure why Rickie didn't want to play... I've always liked the guy, but this makes me think less of him.

    Latest on Braun's thumb: Ryan Braun will undergo a cryotherapy procedure on his ailing right thumb on Thursday in Los Angeles. Braun has been playing through pain all season and has seen his hitting suffer. He and the Brewers decided against an operation last offseason, but they believe the cryotherapy procedure won't be too invasive and could fix the issue. The surgery involves the freezing of damaged tissue and has never been performed on a thumb before, but assistant general manager Gord Ash said it's "been successful with other parts of the body." Braun's rehab schedule is unclear given that there's no track record with this kind of procedure, but obviously the Brewers hope he'll be pain-free for spring training if all goes well.     Ethier has fallen out of favor for a reason, he is no longer very productive.

    Personally, I'm not comfortable with Nelson, it appears he is not even close to being a MLB starting pitcher yet. 2 pitches won't make a very successful pitcher in the big leagues, he is going to have to work on another pitch, or possibly be ready to accept a role in the bull pen.

    5-6 years of 18-22 million for Sandoval? I surely hope not... That would be insanely stupid.

    But to think they haven't even discussed it seems a bit odd... They better be thinking about next season already, if they truly haven't had a single discussion about their 3B for 2015, I would find that a little negligent...

    It would be just plain silly to let Clark or Rogers play to give them a little experience at the big league level as well as see what we might have in them. Just plain silliness...

    Pricing out the average Joe is a mistake, and turns fans away from the live experience. If they want to revitalize, they should include more of the average fan, not just cater to the grossly rich... I feel the same way about the Brewers. It is getting just too costly to go to many live games anymore. All the expenses that are involved with one single game that I can comfortably watch on TV are just not worth it to me any longer. Not that I really care about the Bucks, I haven't followed the NBA since Marques Johnson and Sidney Moncrief. I couldn't name a single current Bucks player, and don't even know when they are in season. If I got free tickets, I'd give them away...

    Sandoval is completely over rated in my opinion. His weight will always be a concern and doesn't seem like the kind of guy who cares about it too much or he would adjust. Headley, I want no part of, none! He had one good season, and is another guy that will be signed based on that one good season and name recognition because of it. There is no way he will be worth the contract he will get, especially to us, who have to watch every dollar we spend. Hanley is a wild card, but he sure is injured a lot. I think our best bet is Aramis, and i believe he will be with us one more year.

    THIS! ^^^^ I wish the Royals the best of luck in the playoffs, I always root for the underdog, but my time the next 2 days is going to be spent rooting for the Pirates and D-Backs!

    Yup, MUST continue to do stupid things on the base-paths, no reason to let up now... Pick off play to 1B, Weeks thrown out at 2B. RRR must go!

    Segura? Really? Last HR was June 20th, that is freaking amazing... Well, good for him, over 3 months, and meaningless, but at least he now remembers how it feels...

    Of course, adding Morneau could have changed the team dynamic though, possibly having a positive effect on players around him. Maybe the players mentioned above would have done better, there is no way to prove either way what would have been the ramifications of adding Morneau to the club. At this point, it looks like it was wise to not give up minor league talent since we went in the tank, but maybe things would have been different had we added him on the positive side... We'll never know.

    Yeah, it may have a negative effect on our pitchers, but a positive effect on our hitters, but in the end, will not provide accurate feedback on either...

    Which is why I always wonder why anyone would want him at 1B... He will have to make a lot of plays at 1B too, not just receiving throws... Did everyone forget just how bad he was?

    It will really suck if we win out, and the Giants lose out until the last day, when they pull out a clutch win to send them to the playoffs, and us home... That would really stink.

    I really think it is a mistake to put your minor league teams in a Coors Field type scenario. Are we going to be able to judge our guys accurately playing in that thin air? This stinks in my opinion... I don't like it one single bit.

    They ended up selling the extra marathon bobbles at registration for $40 each. They had 200 of them, and sold them all for that price. Buddy of mine picked one up for me.

    I was a bad fan, I turned it off after the back to back jacks... Normally I suffer through, but I just wasn't feelin' it last night... If a poster is banned, can they just make a new account, or is the IP address also banned?
