  1. Dude...
  2. RED ONE - AWESOME!
  3. Projecting Gasser AND Woodruff as opening day starting rotation pieces is dangerous, very dangerous...
  4. Why not make an exclusive forum page for the blueprint directions, links, etc AND all the separate posts from members with their blueprints? Those that want to read through them could, those that don't want to see them wouldn't have to go around them. They are getting a bit much, and will probably get a lot worse.
  5. I can't see Pratt starting in a lower level than he finished the season. (actually he was playing in Biloxi for the playoffs) Not a chance he starts in Carolina, and if he does start out at Wisconsin, it won't be for long... I could actually see him starting in Biloxi.
  6. He's been so good in Tampa, happy for him and the Bucs!
  7. Yeah, it's smart to let everyone think they are willing to keep him to possibly up the ante, but I think we all know they will not be to eager to move him at the deadline if they are in the chase. This is just GM speak, and I think there is a lot better chance he is moved than keeping him around.
  8. I'd rather take a chance on a Hoskins rebound than a washed up Goldschmidt to be honest. Unless we'd plan to use Hoskins as primarily a DH if we had both of them, but it seems like it's one or the other. Interesting that this article pegs Sasaki as either a Dodger or Padre with no mention of anyone else even having a remote chance. Geez, I'd love it if the Crew could sneak in there and land him, but as much as a lot of us are hoping, I'd give it about a 1% (realistically less than 1%) chance of happening.
  9. Please, don't just make change for the sake of change. This forum needs to be separate from the others.
  10. Latest DVD purge: Bruce Almighty - Cute little movie, has some pretty funny parts, but nothing I need to see again. Goes against my "never dump a Jennifer Aniston movie rule" but it's just not good enough to keep. Goner. Brooklyn's Finest - This isn't a bad movie at all, and there is a lot of build-up between the 3 stories that lead to the chaotic ending. I like the movie, but don't need it in the collection. Goner. Butterfly Effect - Another movie that is pretty good, and worth seeing, but just not keeper worthy. Goner
  11. White Sox Gavin Sheets also cut loose. Maybe an option at 1B and does play some OF too.
  12. Wasn't sure where to put this, but I'm disappointed we let him go. Atlanta signed OF Carlos Rodriguez to a one-year, non-guaranteed contract. Rodriguez joins Atlanta from the Brewers’ organization. The 23-year-old hit .284/.368/.374 in his time at the Double-A and Triple-A levels in 2024. He’ll compete for a fourth outfield spot in spring training with Atlanta
  13. I can only imagine the outrage in that area over a name change. They could have easily kept the exact same name and just did some updates on unis and logos if they feel they needed to. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
  14. I think it was a mistake not using the Police to get it figured out. Odds are, the police report would have exonerated you from all damage, meaning your insurance wouldn't/shouldn't have been involved.
  15. DVD Purge: -Getting close to the end of my "B" movies... The Brave One - This is a good flick, couldn't remember anything about it until I watched it, so I thought it might be a goner, but nope, keeping it. Bridesmaids - This movie had a ton of truly laugh out loud moments. I didn't remember it being this damn funny! Keeper. Bull Durham - One of my top 3 favorite baseball movies of all time! Great movie from start to finish, just an absolute classic! KEEPER!
  16. I'm gonna say hell no if we are cutting payroll....Not a fan of the guy even if we were planning to add payroll..
  17. Oh man, I'd be bummed if you get rid of this forum. I check it several times a day in the off season.
  18. Yeah, why do "Brewers writers" continue to not realize that ship has sailed. I understand how writers from other teams may not know, but our own writers need to bone up on what's going on within our own system
  19. Nice of Willy to act like what he says is true, but we all know he ain't staying. Good luck Willy!
  20. Probably wanted to wait as long as they could to avoid the backlash it is surely going to bring.
