  1. Hopefully, it has nothing to do with going back in to pitch after that 2 hour delay, but that really seemed stupid at the time...
  2. I don't think we have to worry about it just yet. By the time one of those guys is ready to come off the DL, someone else will likely be hurt, it will work itself out.
  3. Has anyone heard if this piggyback situation with Hall is going to stick around for a while? So far so good, I like it!
  4. That is awesome, too bad it is being left out in the weather. Is he selling it, or just displaying it?
  5. Something has clicked with Eduardo Garcia this year, and it's been a joy to watch!
  6. ESPN needs to go back to sports, and knock off all the other crap that has made them unwatchable. No one needs political takes from a sports channel.
  7. Since his last couple of starts were posted here when he didn't do so hot, I thought I'd post his latest start to be fair. Keep in mind, he is pitching for one of the worst teams in MLB, and was able to shut down one of the best teams in MLB. Smith (2-3) earned the win Tuesday, allowing three hits and two walks over 5.1 scoreless innings against the Tigers. He struck out six. Analysis Smith neutralized the Tigers' offense, recording his fourth scoreless outing of the season. The right-hander has impressed in his rookie campaign, posting a 2.45 ERA and 1.14 WHIP across 62.1 innings. While the White Sox remain at the bottom of the AL Central, Smith has been a clear bright spot.
  8. Our future 3B making some noise! Hopefully, getting hit in the face is now behind him and he can continue his climb to the BIG team!
  9. Make a trade like that, and Skenes blows up his arm? That is a move far too risky, FAR TOO RISKY for a small market club to even consider making. All it would take is for Tommy John to rear it's ugly head and it's curtains for the Brewers while we watch what could have happened in Milwaukee happen in Pittsburgh I mean, we are talking something so detrimental to the organization that we would doom ourselves for half a decade at least.
  10. Friendship Really fun little flick. I guess you'd call it a black comedy... Worth seeing imo.
  11. Interesting. That seems to be worth a trip inside to find out...
  12. I can see it if Burke gets moved up to AA, but there doesn't seem to be room for him there yet. Like Sveum said though, he will have to cut down on K's if he wants to move up...
  13. So bummed he skipped Appleton all together. Really wanted to see this kids stuff in person.
  14. He's been dealing with a shoulder issue.
  15. Dude, you predict a win every single damn day in your rhymes. Now tooting your horn over it? LOL, ok then, good job I guess.
  16. No way I'd do Freddy AND Pratt. Nope.
  17. Not if we are giving up prospect capital that can help us down the line. I refuse to believe that Urias would be that massive. All those numbers you are quoting, do they put us into the wild card chase, win us the division, or propel us into the playoffs? Not a chance.
  18. If Urias wasn't a former Brewer, would anyone even notice he was playing at all? I think a lot of times, people get hung up on ex Brewers because we are familiar with them, not so much as they will really improve us. I'm out on him, too slow and nothing to really add that we don't already have. Hopefully Wilken keeps improving, and he will be our 3B acquisition at the deadline.
  19. Timber Rattlers are High A, or A+ depending on how you want to word it. They are far better than one step above college, but yeah, I'd temper my excitement a bit at this level...
  20. 2025 will take an immense Cubs collapse for us to sniff the playoffs imo. You never know, it's the Cubs after all, but unless our offense can consistently be a lot better, I don't think the odds are in our favor of the playoffs this season. That doesn't mean we won't see some entertaining baseball though.
  21. That's one opinion. Seems to me like he just isn't a team player, and wants only what is best for him. How is he being jerked around? He was asked to possibly DH only this season after signing Bregman, he said nope, I'm a 3B. He was asked to start playing some 1B after Casas went down. He said nope. I don't find those requests to be "jerking a guy around," I find them to be requests that could help the team win some games. Team be damned. He comes off as a selfish little baby if you ask me.
