  1. Thankfully, the Rockies snagged him...
  2. If not, there is no reason to trade him. He's cheap, just keep him and play out the contract if no one wants to meet our demands.
  3. How Freddy pitches against a team that has Skenes pitching has nothing to do with one another. If Skenes gets shelled and gives up 6 runs, and Freddy gives up 5 and gets the win with a final score of 6-5, does that make him an ace? A true ace better damn well shut down a team like the Pirates, regardless of who pitches for them. If Freddy gives up 4 or 5 runs to that team, he's no ace, regardless of winning the game.
  4. Someone needs to stop the madness before Uribe blows a gasket. This kid is our future closer, we can't over use him and expect these same results. Murphy needs to get a handle on his usage for Abner right now!
  5. I'm completely ready to cut ties with BA. When he does show up, he no longer knows the little things he used to know when he was a regular. He is just out of the loop, and it shows in his calling of the game. I'm done with him. I want regular guys, who know everything about the team, the players, and all that encompasses the Brewers. I like Rock, wish he was doing all the games. Dillard is fine, I don't like or dislike him, and he doesn't irritate me as much as he does most people here. Levering is fine, nothing special, just a guy. I like Vinnie to be honest, but man is he a homer...lol
  6. I can think of three players that I would actively boo if seeing them play live. 1. Roberto Alomar - Classless spitting jerk. BOOOOOOOOOO! 2. Manny Machado - Cheapass punk. BOOOOOOOOOOO! 3. Barry Bonds - Not the home run king, the fact he took the title from the real home run king by cheating his rear end off is too much to fathom. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  7. Chourio. It's ChOUrio.
  8. Might only be one start... Carlos Rodriguez will be called up by the Brewers to make a start this weekend in Pittsburgh, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Curt Hogg. Still no Jacob Misiorowski. Rodriguez could be up just to push everyone back a day or perhaps he’ll pitch in place of Quinn Priester, who gave up three runs behind an opener last night and would be due to pitch again Saturday. It’ll probably be just a brief stint in the majors for Rodriguez, as the Brewers have some rehabbing pitchers making their way back. 1h ago Source: Curt Hogg
  9. You aren't getting Abel as a centerpiece, in fact you aren't getting Abel as any piece for Megill. C'mon, not a chance...
  10. And yet, there are people who think we are going to suddenly magically turn things around. I just don't see that happening this season, too many things to fix on both sides of the ball, and that is without even mentioning our pitching... I want to be wrong, and hope I am, but this is going to be one of those seasons, so I hope we get to see some of the young guys step up and see what they can do.
  11. I figured I'd open this up to some long ridiculous rhyme. The rhyme isn't here, but the ridiculousness is...
  12. Boston could use a !B since Casas went down for the year.
  13. One of the nicest young men to come through Appleton......EVER! Easy to root for this guy!
  14. So I went to last night's game. Snoozefest. Not to mention, the way they handled the Chourio bobblehead was pathetic. Got an email saying bobble giveaway was behind section 438, top level. Got up there, only to have to walk all the way down to level one on the ramp then join the line that started on level one, and winded all the way up the ramp, back to section 438. What a farce. Line moved pretty quickly, I think it took us 30-35 minutes to get back up to 438 once we figured out what was going on. Today, considered not even turning the game on, still bitter from last night's game. Would have been the right decision.
  15. Last night's star wars chourio bobble was a complete madhouse. Ridiculous how they have that set up.
  16. It isn't a game give-away, it's an option for the season seat holders. Year's past, all season seat holders automatically got the SSH bobblehead just for having season tickets, this year they are doing it differently, and the ticket holder has to choose the bobble as one of their options. They don't all get one. Pretty lame really.
