  1. Anyone on the board have any? I've always wanted to get one, just to have it in my collection, but have never been able to snag one...
  2. I currently have Time Warner Cable, and have often thought of switching. Then, I always talk to people who have issues like mentioned above, and I always end up staying put. Sure there are those who have no problems with direct tv, but the ones that do sway me into staying away from them. I have no big issues with Time Warner, just think their price continues to rise with no real additions in value.
  3. This is probably the best price you will find unless a board member cuts you a deal. $40 including shipping is the best offer on ebay, and it's buy it now! I have purchased from this seller several times, very good and reliable seller! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nyjer-Morgan-2012-T-Plush-Retro-Variant-Bobblehead-Milwaukee-Brewers-SGA-/230838136199?pt=Vintage_Sports_Memorabilia&hash=item35bf066d87 Good luck!
  4. Absolutely and 100% NO! NO! ...and NO again. The fact that anyone would even consider this has to mean they are thinking that A-Rod is still a super star. He is far from that status. Fun to think about? Why? NO!
  5. Trade Gallardo? Seriously? Ugggghhhhhhh!
  6. I hope you are wrong about the coming back part...
  7. If we sign Lohse, it will be one of the most deeply disappointing days in Brewer history for me... Please, NO!
  8. If we could get Greinke at that price, we just might be in it after all, but I bet he gets more. 6 years is scary though. Same thing with Sanchez, 4 years at 52 mil? I bet he gets more than that. Man do I hope we don't even show interest in Lohse, he has nightmare written all over him.
  9. ...and how many of those walks were to the first batter he faced? Man, that guy frustrated the crap out of me. Good riddance.
  10. I know, I should have specifically said "full size" bobble...
  11. rigged!
  12. I'll send lists right now... Check PMs in 2 minutes
  13. Thanks Hitman!!!! Much appreciated! I love #1 and #2, especially #2! George Scott has the capability to be an extremely cool bobble! #3 meh, been there, done that. #4 seems a bit unnecessary unless they do a commemorative MVP (sorry I gave this one away) #5 is deserved, but doesn't really excite me. #6 We all knew this one, and there is no way they will ever stop this series... #7 also unnecessary since we already have one. Still don't mind it though. #8 at least it isn't RR #9 meh #10 has me psyched! He should have had one when they were doing the '82 team years ago... All that being said, I wonder why Ted Simmons continues to be ignored in the full sized Brewers bobble world?
  14. If it is George Scott, that is a most excellent choice! Kudos to whoever makes that decision. Would love to see a Juan Nieves No Hitter bobble...
  15. Actually, it was announced yesterday at about 10:00 am...
  16. I'm surprised it hasn't been revealed yet... It is more than an hour past yesterday's time, you'd think they would try and be consistent.
  17. 1 year ok, more than that, no thank you.
  18. A-Rod's last contract was unheard of at the time. People expected him to live up to that kind of money and he hasn't... He was under the microscope. Prince has a big contract, but so do a lot of other players, so it is easier to escape criticism imo. Couple that with playing for the Yankees and roids scandals, and A-Rod is going to get hammered.
  19. Agreed. Same thing is going to happen as baseball cards. It became too many to collect, so people just stopped collecting... 10 in a season is ridiculous. It is absolute overkill, especially if any of them have an alternate/retro version. I am truly hoping they don't go this route, but I fear they will. At some point, collectors are going to have to decide if this is worth it any longer, and I bet a lot of them decide this amount of bobbles has crossed the line. My guess is that there will be people that just plain stop this year. Like someone said, add the minor league bobbles, the stitch-n-pitch, beer vendor, retros/alternates of the 10, etc and you can easliy be into close to 30 new bobbles this season. If that pace continues, people just won't have the space. Last year was close to 30 with minors etc, so this is a pretty realistic scenario. 3 or 4 a year would be great. Stop repeating players, stop the stupid multiple sausage series... Oh well, it is what it is. I'm still waiting to see what madness the Timber Rattlers come up with this year for opening day. Last year was over the line with 5 different ones, and one of them being nearly impossible to get. My bet is that they do the same thing this year, with the rare version.
  20. Hopefully the radio can make a comeback. I am sick of all the 70's, 80's, and sometimes 90's rock stations first they all play the same dang songs and there are just way to many of them. I can only listen to a repeating list of KISS, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, AC/DC, and Ozzy for so long and then my ears start to bleed. The problem with that kind of programming is that they play the same 2 or 3 songs by those bands over and over instead of opening up the library and playing their entire catalog. Those bands have a lot more to offer than "Rock and Roll All Nite", Stairway to Heaven", "Shook Me All Night Long", and "Crazy Train."
  21. silhouettes were all released last week, so that would be odd...
  22. Anyone have official announcement of bobble #1 yet? I have been looking for it, but so far nothing...Supposed to start today!
  23. To be honest, I watched a grand total of about 5 innings of this world series. There was nothing there to peak my interest, and that was even with Prince playing... Not sure what the answer is.
  24. One issue I see with all our young guns in the rotation is this: What happens if we are in a playoff run at the end of the season, and make the playoffs? Can we count on all these young guys to last into the playoffs? Odds are, some of them are going to run out of gas in September anyways, much less be able to pitch deep in the playoffs. I think it is great that we have the chance to go into this season with great young, cost effective pitching, but I have serious issues with them being able to go into October. How many of these guys have pitched 200 innings in a single season? For this reason I think we will have to bring in one more proven starting pitcher if we have any chance of making a deep play-off run in 2013. EDIT: and for the record, I want nothing to do with Lohse, NOTHING...
  25. I agree... If they ate half of his salary, I'd consider it...
