    Ok, but imagine the Cubs get into the playoffs, we play them, and ruin THEIR season? What would be better than beating CC and the Cubs to end their freaking season? I agree, it truly would ruin the season if we face them in the playoffs, and they knock us out. It would be the one team (even worse than the Cardinals) that I simply would not want ending our season, and that all comes down to the fact that Counsell is their manager. I can't describe the anger and disappointment I'd feel to have that butthole end our season. But I don't fear them, bring it on Cubbies!!!

    I just sat through today's game, and got to witness Friday and Saturday's mess as well. 3 awful days of baseball is still better than no baseball at all........slightly.

    Maybe this isn't the proper place to post this, but to our minor league gurus, why on earth hasn't Adams played since August 17th, Pratt since August 23rd, and Tayden Hall since August 24th? None are on the IL, all 3 have been taking batting practice and field drills, yet completely absent from the line-up since the dates I have mentioned. I was standing next to a guy who asked Adams if he was playing tonight (That was Friday) and Luke said hopefully tomorrow. Nope, he didn't play Saturday or today (Sunday) Seems strange all 3 would be resting before the play-offs rather than getting at bats in...Rumor was going around that a virus or sickness was going through the clubhouse at one point, but all players have been visibly interacting with their teammates on the field in pre-game warm-ups and in the dugout during the games this week. It's odd, that I have seen nothing, anyplace, as to why they are all not playing.

    Boondock Saints - Great movie, holds up still. Keeper Boondock Saints II : All Saint's Day - Not as good as the original. but still a keeper.

    Why do you get so obsessed with what people say in past threads, especially IGT threads where hot takes are the norm. Why are those statements so important to you, so important that you have to keep throwing them in the faces of posters who said them? Why must you feel so superior to other posters, that you have to continuously bring up past statements that no longer matter. Just let it go, your constant calling out posters for things they say in IGT threads is disgusting.

    I've been there only once, but it was a game day. The atmosphere is electric, and fun, even if you are a Brewers fan...lol

    Bad fantasy GMing? I am in 4 leagues, I am currently in 1st place in all 4 leagues. The league that I have Cruz, I'm 400+ points in the lead. In 2 of the other 3 leagues, I'm 300+ in the lead, and the final one I am 230 points in the lead. It's far from bad GMing... lol I was expecting him to be a top 10 fantasy SS at the very least. I was expecting him to average 2.8 points per game or in that window. Luckily, I didn't draft him that high. Defense has nothing to do with anything in fantasy baseball. At least not in my leagues. No points are scored for being a great defensive player, it's all about the offense. Offensively, Adames has Killed Cruz this year, and it isn't even close. Like I said, Cruz is the #23 fantasy SS in my leagues. He's been garbage. As far as when I mentioned fantasy, I said it in the same post, the second sentence. Is this really that difficult to comprehend? Meh, whatever.

    Again, I'm talking about from a fantasy baseball perspective. Not trying to be sneaky, said it twice, now for the third time, my post is based on fantasy baseball. Cruz is the #23 SS in my leagues. Adames is #9. It's a 12 team league, so I expected way more from him than the 23rd most points at the SS position. Adames has 320 points, Cruz has 222. Almost a 100 Point difference. I stand by my original statements, from a fantasy baseball perspective, Cruz has been garbage.

    My take is based on a fantasy baseball perspective. Dude is averaging 1.84 points per game. There are guys sitting on our WW with better numbers and more points. He's been a HUGE disappointment,

    Nah, it's normal procedure for you, so I wanted you to know that some people notice your holier than thou attitude on these boards. I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong, happens often. You made an attempt to make yourself look better than others, and it failed. I realize that you will have to have the last word and to feel you have won, so I'll give you the last word, but you do think you are better than most, and it's good for you to realize that it isn't true.

    Those disaster declarations were based on his past performance, and recent past performance as well. I don't think anyone needed to be called out, again, just your attempt at superiority.

    All fully warranted. He was garbage before getting to Milwaukee. I'm glad I was wrong, thrilled actually. Hopefully what we have seen the past couple of games is what we see from here on out. EDIT: I actually didn't even post my thoughts...lol But I was with the majority in thinking it was a pretty uneventful trade.
