    This can go in three directions: 1. Montas pitches an excellent game, and everyone praises our front office. 2. Montas gets shelled, and the board implodes! 3. Montas pitches a meh game, making it impossible to form an opinion.

    A few things ; Wilken was hit in the face.....................by a pitch! There was a decent chance he didn't play again this season, but he has gutted it out and is doing his best. I would expect him to be back full force next year, I would expect Turang to move to SS, and Ortiz to 2B I don't think it's a slam dunk that Ortiz is at SS fulll time next year. Frelick is not a 3B. No matter what kind of novelty this idea has become, if we have o resort to Frelick's bat playing 3B, things have gone wrong, really wrong.

    He didn't set himself up, he made a post that at the time had merit. Pretty lame to drudge it up and criticize him for it now.

    Heading to T-Rats game this afternoon rather than watch Freddy pitch...I don't need the frustration. This of course ensures Freddy will pitch a gem since I'm not going to watch! You are welcome Brewers fans!

    Goes both ways. If you are going to make an argument for the team being average or above average, you can cherry pick for that too. This board does a great job at all 3 when trying to prove a point.

    I am shocked the prospect hugging Orioles made this trade. That is some decent firepower heading to the Marlins.

    So, if Mears is for real, we are looking at Mears in the 7th, Megill the 8th, and Williams in the 9th for the playoffs? That is pretty awesome, and can really lock things down once we get to the 7th. Hudson when healthy for the 6th? Now we need about 2 starters to get us there... lol

    Dallas Keuchel? Isn't that kind of what he did for us, yet we cut him loose, and we got him for $1. I'm not saying we should have kept Keuchel, but what does Montas give us that Dallas didn't? Meh, both crappy pitchers, so what does it really matter, other than we gave up $1 to get one, and Wiemer plus Junis to get the other.

    High risk, high reward type of guy. Personally, the risk is too.................risky to be giving up our top prospects. I know our pitching lab could come into play with a guy like this, but I'd rather let other teams take the risk, not us.

    I'm so done with superhero movies. Couldn't keep up, the ones I did see were declining in quality, so I gave up. Never saw an X-Men movie, but have seen the Deadpool movies, but since I know nothing about the X-Men, I won't be seeing this one.

    Anyone ever watched Cougartown? I remember watching it with my wife when it was actually on tv. Thought it was ok. Rewatching now and find it to be pretty hilarious. Happy I started the rewatch as it provides with true laugh out loud moments in every episode.

    Getting Frankie freaking Montas for Wiemer means he had no value, none, zip, zero, zilch. Pretty sure they dumped Junis so they didn't have to pay him, making what we have to pay Montas a little less.

    The graphic they showed before the game of all the guys the Braves have on the IL is amazing. Big time guys out for the year, yet, they are still in the hunt.

    Chourio is a thing of beauty! So happy we locked him up when we did.

    yeah, he's bottoming... gross trade. Why trade Junis when we obviously need long middle relievers. Montas is just a guy. If Joey figures it out, we get to have him mash on us the next half decade. If he doesn't fugure it out, he'll still mash on us, even if he sucks against everyone else.
