Jerseys are perfect, I've been wanting them to go back to real powder blue forever.
The fact that the pants are grey and not also powder blue is a huge miss and looks terrible.
If you bought a house 20 years ago for $100k and now it's worth $300k you don't just have $200k sitting around to buy stuff with, you only get that money when you sell the house. Just because the franchise is worth that much more than when he bought it means nothing until he sells the team, that's not money available to put into payroll.
This would actually be very good for small market teams. The largest income discrepancy between large and small market teams are the local TV deals. The Dodgers current TV deal is over $8 billion dollars. MLB selling all of the local TV deals as one package and splitting up the profits evenly between all 30 teams would be a massive shift to evening payrolls between the large and small markets.
I've watched clips of Foul Territory when Youtube pops them up in my recommeded feed. I like Kratz well enough, but I don't think I've ever seen AJ smile or laugh, he just seems miserable to be around.
For baseball content I stick mostly to Jomboy Media. Both Talkin' Baseball and Baseball Today are, IMO, better than Foul Territory.
Brewers announced game times for 2026. Big change is Friday games move from 7:10 to 6:40. Two exceptions are 7/24 and 8/21, which are two Friday 3:10 starts. There was one Friday 3:10 start in 2025, the day of the Alumni HR Derby. With how well that was received it's possible that's coming back and another new event could be happening too.

Good lord, when it rains it pours for Detroit. They were up 2-0 on Cleveland with Skubal dealing. Bottom of the 6th Cleveland leads off with a bunt hit followed by another bunt where Skubal tries to throw the guy out at first by throwing it between his legs like a center hiking a football and it sails into right field, so Cleveland gets runners on 2nd and 3rd. Then an infield hit, a wild pitch, a balk and a groundout and suddenly it's 3-2 Cleveland.
Kinda crazy how much of the AL playoff picture has shifted in the last couple of weeks. Former Brewer Jason Alexander gives up a 7 spot in the 2nd to the Mariners as Seattle is going for a sweep of the Astros. The Mariners were on the outside of the playoffs a couple of weeks ago and are suddenly the 2 seed with how far the Tigers have fallen.
Rumor is the Brewers will be hosting the Braves in next year's Little League Classic.

Wow, ending to the Dodgers/Orioles game was crazy. Dodgers were up 3-0 and Yamamoto had a no hitter through 26 outs before giving up a HR to Jackson Holliday. Then the Dodger bullpen couldn't get the 27th out and the Orioles ended up walking it off 4-3.
The Brewers have the best record in baseball by 4.5 games, the Cubs are tied for the fifth best record in baseball and are 6.0 games back. In any other division they'd either be leading, tied for first or within a game of first. But yeah, we're letting them hang around.
Yeah, the Mariners traded their no. 9, 16, and 17 prospects for Suarez who has put up a negative WAR as a Mariner all while free falling and, as it stands now, barely hanging on to the 6 seed by a half a game.
