  1. Well they were all off balance until Cam tracked that ball down at the track that Connor Jackson hit. Still, I think he looks good. He's mixing and matching well eventhough he isn't getting as big of a zone as Scherzer is getting. Mike Cameron turns playing CF into an art form
  2. Typically I would agree, but except for the leadoff HR they have all been off balance fly balls
  3. This early in the season, I honestly dont care what Rickie's OBP is because if he keeps this approach to hitting, his numbers are going to be just fine come season' end
  4. He is definitely extending his arms out farther from his chest. It is very obvious. And I think it is causing him to have a hard time getting to good fastballs - especially inside ones. EDIT: I am also totally on board with moving Hall ahead of him and agree with X that Billy of 2006 is back as I have mentioned before. Even times when Hall is facing a tough RHP matchup, he seems to be finding a way to make a good AB out of it, whether it be working the count in his order, fouling off tough pitches, or just flipping a single out there (often times to right field) on a tough pitch
  5. Brewers 2B Rickie Weeks RF Corey Hart LF Ryan Braun 1B Prince Fielder CF Mike Cameron SS J.J. 6. With our plate discipline and ability to get opposing pitch counts up so far this year, I think it may be a short night for Scherezer. Soup, stay on track. You have looked pretty decent your last couple times out. And please try to avoid Upton in big spots if at all possible. Thanks
  7. That sounds pretty darn tasty Nottso! Must come from your old wiseness
  8. If you were to purchase preferred parking now for Saturday night it would cost you $18. Actually if you bought it now it would still only be $12. It would be $18 day of the game
  9. I got a good chuckle out of this - I just went to the ESPN MLB homepage to check out some scores and this is what I saw...http://espn.go.com/mlb/
  10. Yeah I am loving those 2 at the top of the order right now. I would like to see them get the chance to run a bit more, but its probably not going to happen with Braun and Prince behind them. Tough to potentially make outs on the basepaths with those 2 coming up.
  11. Totally agree. He is just hitting seeds all over the place and has had some very hard outs. He keeps this up, his numbers will look just fine in the end. When Rickie hits a ball, it really stays hit
  12. I wouldn't really call it a doofus move. The options were LH Nelson, LH Duffy, or RH McGehee who serves as the emergency catcher and we had already lost one catcher on the night. Crazier of things have happened. Now if you would have said Macha should have PH'd Gallardo, I cannot argue that line of thoughthttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  13. I should add that for the home opener I make a big water cooler full of what I call Brew Crew Blue Brew. It consists of vodka, Blue Raspberry UV vodka, lemonade, and a little Squirt. Just came up with it on my own, although I am sure there are many similar recipes out there
  14. Actually I think if we DFA Nelson again he would automatically become a free agent iirc
  15. I'm a little nervous for Trevor's first Brewer save opportunity
  16. There is nothing worse than getting a bad seed...except maybe a bad peanut. 2 of the worst tastes I have ever encountered
  17. Good inning Jorge. Maybe next time you come in I won't have such a negative reaction
  18. I am having a real hard time watching Hardy right now. He looks lost
  19. At least get Braun to 3rd here EDIT: Good job Prince!
  20. I really dont think he was trying to put those runners on. Bushie has great command - if he wants to hit someone they will know it
