  1. I still contend that Corey Hart speaks some rare kentuckian dialect of english that I cannot comprehend
  2. Let's go YO-YO! Finish this baby up! Been getting the pen some real nice rest the last few days. Speaking of the pen, any word on if Hoffman has thrown yet tonight?
  3. Thats exactly what I was thinking when I saw how early the ball got there. Thats the last thing Cam needs. Good to hear the 'Stros announcers at least know how the game is played/ On another Cam related note, he has just been on just about every pitch so far this year. Looks just fantastic! And he is like a gazelle in CF. Can't tell I like me some Cam at all, can ya?
  4. Haha - he has really been getting under my skin this year. I had been agitated with him pretty much every game so far, but yesterday just pushed me over the edge. And now this business of him getting you to think something that really wasn't?! That dirty rascal
  5. Finally I have some fellow supporters on Bill Hall and his defensive prowess this year. I have been awfully lonely fighting tooth and nail with some other bfnetters on this very topic
  6. He is an awfully handsome guy! Siberian or malamute? I love watching Yo pitch! And on cue BA says that Yo threw one of his best fastballs of the night at 93 mph to Berkman. I have seen several at 94 and one at 95. Good call though BA
  7. Wouldn't be surprised if BA coaxed you in a bit too. Is it just me or does he seem extremely bad on judging distance on fly balls this year? Like Uecker in the last few years bad.
  8. Man if JJ can take second base on him and Pudge he's got bigger things to worry about. Nice dog BTW
  9. Gracias TSack! You always seem to have my back on the pitch countshttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif EDIT: and thanks also to Sheets4!
  10. I wouldn't be so sure about that. The camera made it look like it was crushed and so did BA but I went back and watched it and it looked like it was only about 7-10 rows into the Crawford Boxes. 15-20 ft to the right and that ball is in the park and possibly caught
  11. No more 5 hole for JJ please. Who knows if it really has anything to do with it or not, but he seems to be sort of quirky about that and has looked SOOO much better since getting dropped to 6. And Cam looks great at 5 right now. He has really shortened up his stroke with 2 strikes and is swinging at really good pitches. Brewers batters are puttin on a clinic tonight and I likey!!
  12. According to BA you would have thought Caballo hit that ball to the gulf of mexico!
  13. Haha man Schroeder is a rube sometimes! The tavern of the the game was the Munich Bar and Taco in Hurley and he called it the Munch Bar and Taco and said how the bars so far this year have had unique names. He cracks me up! Anyone have a pitch count on Yo??
  14. Nice inning boys! And nice jig around there Prince! Cam should be 3-3 right now. He crushed that ball in his first AB
  15. Thanks for obeying Prince!! Lets keep this rollin - can't remember the last time we strung together a bunch of hits like this in one inning!
  16. Interesting strike zone tonight. Yo has thrown 2 or 3 darts at the knees that were called balls (same for Paulino) and then the ump rings up Matsui on a fastball at the armpits. Go high or go home I guess
  17. That sounds awesome Jamie!! Unfortunately I live 3 hours away. At the least the game is in delicious HD tonight! GO Yo and GO CREW! Make it 3 in a row!
  18. Dentice Bros. closed?! Crap! The "pepperoni, cannoli" guy is interesting to say the least. Most times I would give him a ten dollar bill or something and he would pretend he didn't know how to make change or whatever and just walk away calling out, "pepperoni! cannoli!" to draw in the next sorry sap.
  19. I am also a fan of the Nite Owl. My grandma used to take me there as a kid for burgers and malts. I used to like Kopp's but the last few times I had their burgers they were way too greasy and not very good. I am a burger lover and actually Texas Roadhouse has very, very good burgers. If anyone is ever in Eau Claire, Mogie's Pub on Water St. has excellent burgers. I have to try Sobelman's. And I like 5 Guys too for a fast food burger.
  20. Yes - I probably should have said I lightly boil or simmer them as that is a more accurate description. Another thing I thought we could add is condiments. Mustard? No mustard? Kraut? No kraut? Ketchup? No ketchup?...Personally I like ketchup and kraut. I know the brat purists so mustard only belongs on a brat, no ketchup but other than yellow mustard I am not a big mustard guy. For kraut I like Frank's polish style with caraway seeds. I saw in the store the other day the Claussen has started making kraut. Anyone tried it?
  21. My biggest problem with Ned was that he never seemed to learn from his mistakes. Macha seems to be the type that would figure out to put the toilet seat up after peeing all over it once or twice.
  22. I kinda like it too. Its better than him calling it the outfield "barrier" or calling bases "cushions"
  23. To me BA is all about BA. And that was quite evident today imo. He should have stuck with golf. I may be in the minority but I much preferred Sutton
