  1. Weeks has to be sub .200/.300 ob since the break. Small sample but it's not like he's just hitting into poor luck either. He's fouling off/swinging thru more good pitches to hit than anyone besides Casey. Definitely would like to see him leadoff again and see if that wakes him up (not to mention I don't think he's a middle of the order guy...poor situational hitter).
  2. Man, if Castro develops more power he's gonna be an absolute beast.
  3. Weeks really needs to get it together. He's been dreadful post ASB.
  4. Yeah, it was pretty clear that Morgan was bunting for a base hit there.
  5. Weeks has to be an above avg defender at this point. Wow.
  6. I know it's been said a million times, but what exactly does McG add to the team at this point?
  7. I was really looking forward to Weeks taking out the catcher and really riling up the fans. That probably would have been our best bet.
  8. Did he even tag him at all? Hard to tell. Close either way. And we've gotten some breaks lately, it seems.

  10. FSNWI showed this last night during the broadcast...but it needs to be reposted. Witnessing a 491 foot homerun must be epic. Young has the same reaction that I did when he butchered Yuni's inside-the -parker at Miller Park a few weeks back. http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/663567/ThomeYoung.gif.opt_medium.gif
  11. Karstens comes from the BABIP gods. His current BABIP is .235 and that contributes to his current strand rate of 88.7%. Its why his ERA is 2.34 while his FIP is 4.48 and his tERA is 4.77. He's also given up 17 homeruns this year....all solo shots. Unreal. He is the Anti-Greinke.
  12. link? Also, I thought you said you turned 25 a couple nights ago.
  13. And yet somehow, he made all sorts of tougher plays in the all star game. I know he booted that one pop-up, but still.
  14. That's why we brought in K-Rod, I guess. To sit on his ass during the highest leverage situations. Roenicke is insane.
  15. I think he got him on the back leg that was curled with his other leg extended over the plate. Looked out in a lot of replays bc you can't see his curled leg. Ump was in a good position to make the call.
  16. Tremendous. And he actually threw out people when they actually deserved it. Done good, kid.
  17. He was safe. Thought so in real time, but the 3rd replay confirmed it.
  18. Braun didn't look right from his first at bat on Thursday. I agree with you BCin2004. Most likely another large blunder by the FO. Lately, I find myself saying that too often.
