  1. I always say that they are the worst matchup for our team, but it seems like about half the league are sinker ballers, so at some point you'd think they could adjust.
  2. I just heard on the radio broadcast that because of the rain out yesterday in Colorado, we won't see Halladay this weekend. Please be true!! Instead of having 3 lefties in a row, I would have swapped Gerut and Weeks. I know Macha had Weeks in the 3 hole a few times last year.
  3. It seems like nearly every time we lose, Weeks has had a bad game. He's 0-8 in the series, and we've now lost two in a row. Just saying.
  4. I'm not exactly sure, but it's not a certainty we'll even see it. Hanson only has 59 pitches.
  5. He's either gonna be released or retire in the next month. Think I read that over at deadspin.
  6. BA is solid, but the guy still can't judge a flyball to save his life.
  7. Really? You thought Braden came off as the prick? I guess it's split about 50/50. I thought A-Rod came out looking worse in that situation... Yeah, I'm just not a fan of a guy who thinks he's some big protector of the unwritten rules in baseball. The reason they're "unwritten" is mainly because they are mind numbingly stupid. I think Arod is a pretty arrogant dude, but for some reason I kind of admired the way he needled Braden in the press. Unfortunately for him, Braden came up huge today, and Arod acknowledged that.
  8. Guy seems like a real prick after his beef with ARod, so I was praying for Kapler to break it up in the ninth. I was floored he offered at the 3-1 pitch.
  9. Braun is in the rare company of a guy like Pujols, where you're shocked if he doesn't square up 2 or 3 balls a night.
  10. I was fine with it. It took two perfect throws, and allowed Braun to reach 3rd, which is often overlooked. Would you have posted the same thing if Drew didn't have a perfect throw?
  11. They were playing trivia between innings at MP and asked a kid to identify the Brewer with the middle name Diego...of the 3 choices he named Edmonds...it was really Gerut. The IGT was all over it and it stuck and I haven't been able to get that "Go Diego Go" song out of my head since. The funny thing was the other choice between those two was Counsell. I was at that game and my friends and I jokingly said, watch this moron will pick CC or Edmonds, and sure enough he did.
  12. Haha, so true. I hate the inconsistencies players face night to night. If we're not gonna switch over to computers, I'd like to see some accountability for guys who routinely blow it. A certain amount of errors per night should result in a loss of pay imo.
  13. How does LaRoche not swing there? That was a borderline strike. What a luckbox.
  14. I don't think they've come out with a measurement yet, jj. I'm sure it will be artificially low, since we're not at home.
  15. I think that actually hit someone in a wheel chair. I guess I can't blame the Dbacks for thinking there wouldn't be many balls hit 470 ft from homeplate. Wow.
  16. I thought Edmonds looked fine the first night he came back. Just missed a couple dingers to the opposite field. Last night, yeah, he was terrible. Very dumb that Inglett is batting second. I'm sure he'll move some runners over, and dolts like Macha will deem it a success. What can you do.
