  1. yeah, no kidding. I thought gameday was just frozen. No reason for that.
  2. I was gonna jokingly ask how Hart misplayed that one since i'm watching the bucks game. Bad read? Lose it in the lights?
  3. Gomez could walk every plate appearance if he didn't swing. what an idiot.
  4. Much appreciated. I always enjoy reading these, guys. In fact, I think that's how I found this site back in 2003. Can anyone vouch on how accurate baseball reference minor league is? I see Lawrie has on a 7% LD percentage. That seems absurdly low, but iirc, he had a really low percentage last year as well. That kind of scares me for a guy who's known for his bat.
  5. The baserunner went from second to third on the throw. Have to determine a cause-and-effect. I'm still at a loss over this scoring decision. So Gomez gets an error for trying to throw the runner out at home? It was a really good throw, and would have probably gotten the out had Zaun held on. Is that the play he got it on? Maybe this is commonplace among MLB scorers, but I'm definitely NOT gonna give the benefit of the doubt to the moron who scores at MP. He's the absolute worst in the league. I almost died when he ruled Rickie's missile an error in the 1st.
  6. Do certain players routinely lead the league in ROE's, like certain players do on HBP"s? I've always wondered that. If there seems to be some familiarity at the top, I agree it should be added.
  7. One of Melvin's best moves might turn out to be hanging on to Rickie after the 2008 season, where a majority of Brewer fans wanted him gone. He should definitely look into an extension, but I fear there isn't much upside from Rickie's pov. 3 hits today, all to RF. Props to Svuem (and Randolph). It would have taken a months worth of games for Rickie to have three hits to right a few seasons ago.
  8. I really think Rickie just lost control of the bat on that swing. Looked awkward, but not painful. Nothing like last year imo. Doc thinks once those sheaths are repaired, they're good to go for the long haul. Lets hope so.
  9. I'm fine here in Oshkosh with Time Warner. Channel 310.
  10. I HATE when I get home and find out that the fruit I just bought is basically already spoiled. This just happened to me with some raspberries I paid blood ($3.99) for. Top ones were fine, everything else was solid mold. Fruits a gamble, I know that going in /Seinfeld, but it still bugs me.
  11. This is a big loss for them. Feel bad for Cam, but maybe this makes them panic at the deadline and overpay for Prince?
  12. Let's keep it here. I like when threads get huge like this, so I can go back and read all the stupid things I've said. Humbling.
  13. Uecker thought there was 2 outs the entire time Kottaras was up.
  14. Redd going down was the key to the season. It allowed Bogut to become the primary option (until Salmons showed up) and the ball movement on offense was a lot better.
  15. I really want to know what Ken Macha did in the interview to make Melvin say "Yeah, that's the guy I want to lead our team." It certainly can't be his people skills. Did anyone see his interview with the ESPN guys Sunday Night? Came across as a complete jerk.
  16. You think Milwaukee would be any different? He's been brutal for awhile now. Hall and Weeks were booed for about a week straight a couple of summers ago.
  17. I used to hate soriano, but now I'm starting to come around on the guy. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  18. Washburn wanted to come here, but isn't a fan of Macha or Randolph. Both are band-aids though, so I'm not gonna get too worked up about it.
