  1. I hate the best seat available feature. It's just a random generator. I was on right at 7, and it first gave me 4 seats in the 300 section. I tried it again and it moved me down to the 100 level. Awesome deal though.
  2. I contacted your ticket guy, jjk, and got a good deal on some seats in section 110. Had a blast. Great game.
  3. Kemp's a superstar....he's dating Rihanna. And he's pretty damn good at baseball. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif For non superstar players: Weeks, JDLR, Schrezer.
  4. Brian Giles. Forgot about him. He's the guy who beat the crap out of his girlfriend, all caught on camera.
  5. Not a player, but I'd consider following a different team if the Brewers somehow wound up with Ron Gardenhire as manager.
  6. Wow, seriously? That's an awesome deal. Did you get that thru the Bucks ticket department?
  7. Check on craigslist. There's usually guys that use paypal, so you never have to actually meet. I'm thinking I'm gonna try to get down there too.
  8. I read somewhere that Adam Scott (from Step Brothers) is joining the cast. He's an excellent comedic actor, but I'm not sure if I'd mess with success. JeanRalphio "wooing" Donna was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. That's a brilliant part-time character. I'm wondering if Michael Schur was the brainchild behind all the great recurring characters on the office, because since he's left, they funny ones have left with him, and now P&R is pumping out all these really good ones. As for Community beating P&R in the ratings, I'm guessing it has to do with the big names that drew people in from the start (Chevy Chase and Joel Mchale). Also, its had a great premier season. That's really rare. I'm expecting big things next year.
  9. Yeah, he has good, soft hands. He's not nearly as defensively challenged as our other guys like weeks and braun when they were coming up.
  10. Yep, Rock and BA making it seem like Gomez is in the 2 hole to stay. Probably won't last too long.
  11. I hated Mo'nique's speech. Thanking the academy for not playing politics was basically a slap in the face to the other nominated actresses. Also, Costume designer lady came across as the most arrogant person to ever grace the stage. I thought Baldwin and Martin were very good.
  12. Yeah, I definitely laughed my ass off at a lot of parts. Even the way, way out there stuff like Dwight dropping axes and swords out his window as he was getting pulled over.
  13. As usual, there were some very funny bits in the episode such as Meredith's Clooney joke (only time I've ever laughed at anything she's said), Dwight sleeping naked in Jim n Pam's bed, Andy hiding behind plants, and Creed crying and saying having fun as they left the office. But the writing just continues to be so damn poor. I'm just shocked at how predictable the writers have become. Breastfeeding the wrong baby, Michael walking in on the delivery, Dwight and Michael stopping to say where they saw a deer on the side of the road while Pam is in freakin labor. I know they're supposed to be clueless idiots, but no one is that dumb. That's the kind of cliched crap I would expect from Two and a Half Men, and not The Office.
  14. Jennings has been consistently bad since that hot start, but I still like his chances at becoming a good player. He should definitely be given the keys for the next few years, at least. He needs to work on bulking up, shooting, and working the pick and roll. He's the worst passer I've ever seen out of it. If he doesn't improve his shooting, he won't be long for this league. I know the above probably sounds bleak, but I'm not too worried yet. He's a good floor general overall, and as someone else mentioned, he's an okay defender at this point. WIth skiles at the helm, he should only get better.
  15. Chill out, Scott Van Pelt. It's just a prank phone call.
  16. Because a player could easily choke on it during the middle of the game? It's not even a good idea to chew gum when exercising.
  17. I agree they gave up nothing and got a decent player back. Definitely a talent upgrade. And I'm sure you know that the nothings we traded only had value because of their expiring contracts. The names behind them are completely irrelevant. But Hammond only went half way in. He didn't choose a clear direction, which has been has MO during his tenure here. He left some expirings (K Thomas, Ridnour, Brezec, Ivey) on the table, and now we're gonna be in the dreaded 8th or 9th seed again. The option to switch first round picks with the Bulls should have been a clear incentive to make a mini-run at a decent seed this year. Now, we're probably just gonna battle with them on who get's to get swept by Cleveland.
  18. Both moves were fine, but he should have went all in and got a PF. Murphy, Thompson, or Landry. We probably could have gotten one of the last two if we would have taken on Nocioni's deal.
  19. Horrifying story, burniebrewer. What a menace. If the rot has already set in by the time he's that age, I'm guessing he's gonna be a future felon.
  20. If we can get Murphy for pure expirings, you do it and don't think twice. He's expiring next year, so he still falls in line with Hammond's "plan". The team is in the dreaded 9th seed right now. They need to make a run for the 5th-7th seed to make this season worthwhile. Throwing Ersan in the package would be insanity. They're already comparable players, and Ersan projects to get better while Murph should start to decline.
  21. The first half of the episode was horrendous, but I think the last half with Wallace saved it a little bit.
  22. That all sounds really good. I think that Brat Hot Tub is exactly what I was looking for. Appreciate it.
  23. THANK YOU. I hate that wanna-be Jason Segel. I like the lady from the Chase sapphire commercials. Really good looking. I recognize her from somewhere but I can't put my finger on it.
