  1. Bunt makes no sense but I do think it at least screwed up Blanco's view.

  3. For real? Obviously we're either gonna win or lose, but no way is it a coinflip. Didn't you question a win probability last night too? Off topic but this reminds me of when I'd win a hand in poker as a 4 to 1 dog and the unlucky player would ask me, omg do you the odds of you winning that hand were? My answer would always be 50/50. Either I win or lose. Definitely a good way to get under someones skin, but yeah obviously way false.
  4. I thought he looked pretty good in game 1 (his eye at least), but yeah there's becoming no way you can justify starting him game 5.
  5. There's no way that's right. He has one hit (game 2 triple) in the last seven days.
  6. Absolutely. Said it last night. Outside of Parra, Weeks has been the worst player in the series so far. Parra hasn't done nearly as much damage either because he's hitting 8th. Weeks has killed us because he hits 5th. And honestly, I don't understand what Roenicke was expecting. Weeks has looked like crap since he came back. Outside of that long homerun, he never hits the ball hard. Ever. I would put Green or McGehee at 3rd and start Hairston at 2nd if there's a game 5. There's no way they can be any worse.
  7. I had absolutely no confidence that weeks would get that run in. He's a terrible situatuional hitter even when healthy. Hitting him in a rbi spot is probably gonna leave a lot of runs on the bases. Ugh. Wolf fail.
  8. Average? Why, because they don't throw hard? Both have good numbers and peripherials.
  9. I think roenicke should consider flipping weeks and hairston in the order. Rickie's eye looks good but his timing is way off. He hits the ball hard about once every couple games.
  10. Unlike our other consistent stinker, he does seem to hit it hard once a game though.
  11. Yeah I was watching the behind the catcher view and off the bat I thought it had a chance to get over Young's head. Really crushed it. Kinda unlucky to get only 1 there.
  12. K. I'll take that. That a boy Hairston. Bout time we got one of those gritty professional hitters on our side.
  13. Same here. Hopefully that is the future for pro sports. Even in the regular season charge a buck or two a game. Pick and choose what games you want or buy a team's package (get rid of the insane blackout restrictions too). Then I can finally do away with cable.
  14. I am watching it there too. Why do they only offer 1 camera angle at a time and not just the regular TBS feed. It is frustrating to be able to only see one angle at a time. I know. I'm pretty bummed. Had no idea they don't have cameras that track the ball. I've been doing the tight center field mode when the brewers are up, and then a homeplate view when they're on d. Not bad. It's worth the 4 bucks and that's about it. Guess you get what you pay for.
  15. If you're gonna get out on 2 pitches, I'd like to see the ball at least hit hard. If not, work the count and hopefully get into the bullpen around the 6th or 7th.
  16. I'm forced to watch on mlb.tv right now. That was a great at bat by Weeks to make up for the first 3 guys. Bunch of pitches, and had a ton of tough takes.
  17. God, SVP and Stu Scott are BRUTAL. I don't even know what the hell they are talking about half the time they open their mouths. Just replay the highlights idiots.
  18. Me too. Plus, it would also prove the old adage that managers don't really matter if 3 clowns like Maddon, Scioscia, and Roenicke can get their teams to the WS.
