  1. Does jp go out there again after so few pitches or is it devin williams? If williams we need a clean inning from him
  2. I get the frustration with pulling pitchers but woodruff was at 91 and his spot came up with a runner in scoring position. Woodruff is 0-7 with 5 is at the plate this year. The move made sense even if jp gives up a run here
  3. Well it is a 1 run game and his spot is up with a runner in scoring position so it makes sense. Maybe I’m just jaded, but at this point there’s no one on the bench I trust to drive in that run. I’d rather have another inning of Woodruff on the mound. Hard to argue with that at this point
  4. Well it is a 1 run game and his spot is up with a runner in scoring position so it makes sense.
  5. Another great game for woodruff. Unfortunately for him Burnes is stealing all the headlines for brewers pitchers.
  6. So far we had 4 at bats with the bases loaded in the first and then 2 at bats with runners at 2 and 3 and have scored 1 run on a walk.
  7. 3-2 pitch with your best hitter at the plate. You’re basically trusting him to not swing and miss at a fastball. Thankfully for us, that’s exactly what happened. I don't like the possibility of a final out at third. Especially with good hitters still coming up. And with happ's speed a single likely scores him from second anyway
  8. Would love to get more than one here. Too bad hiura and mckinney weren't productive with their outs
  9. Not to mention a starting pitchers is way more valuable than a reliever.
  10. Out for months and they hope he will pitch again this year. Tough break
  11. Twins gotta be sick to their stomach since they were shutout twice yesterday in doubleheader losses. Twins and yankees tied for worst record in the al
  12. To be fair couple well located pitches same with Shaw. Meanwhile a superb located strike 3 was called ball 3 and leads to a walk. The zone has been inconsistent but he missed badly on his first two with grisham and then put one right over the center of the plate. Great at bat against tatis though. Hope that is a sign of things to come. Location is his big problem this year. Once that is straightened and he will be fine
  13. This team feels like Counsell's dream. The bench is so versatile and good in different roles. When healthy we have so many interchangeable of, Vogelbach and McKinney can start but are also really good pinch hit bats. If Williams and Yardley get things straightened out he has options out of the bullpen. Once Yelich and Wong come back this offense should really good but props to Stearns for building a roster that has withstood key injuries
  14. I remember someone posting here that his hard hit percentage was crazy high too
  15. I am surprised every time I see Garcia's ops and batting average. Just seems like he is hitting way better than his numbers
