  1. I looked at it briefly. Did they have drones flying around during plays? Also, cameramen on the field during plays? Wasn't sure.
  2. @Ewitkows1 beat me to the Relegation point. Even with that, the larger markets would never be relegated (akin to Man U and Chelsea in the EPL). I would like to see some form of it, but it would be tough in the US culture. Give minor league players a better paycheck. SI Article Football thrives because of exposure on TV. Provide better streaming options where I don't have to pay a boat load of money to watch my local team. I know it is a little different, but I can't watch any games without subscribing? Either go with all DH or no DH. Then, get rid of the American and National Leagues. Or, if you have relegation, have one be the Premier league and the other is the First division. Force fans to pay a fee when they are constantly getting up DURING THE INNING or DURING A PITCH to do... whatever. I'm there to watch the game, not play elevator getting up and down multiple times an inning. [disclaimer] This one is tongue in cheek [/disclaimer]
  3. Would the Packers be bold enough to take a first and maybe a fourth and fifth and trade for Metcalf? You could take a tackle with the other first rounder and then a WR in the second or third?
  4. I suppose it depends on the type of business for which somebody is providing support. I'm sure the goal is to ease the person on the phone, so "I'm sorry" would imply some type of empathy, I guess. Since I'm in tech and applications, I'll often say, "Thank you for sharing... let me take a look to see what may be going on." Of course, if I work with the person frequently, there might be the, "Dude... this is the third time you have done this during the week. What's really going on here?" ?
  5. I would have thought the HHB rate would be more in line with the Sweet Spot %. I'm happy his K% is lower. Can't really help out much if you don't put the ball in play.
  6. Elon Musk is going to rule the world. https://www.theverge.com/2022/4/14/23024905/elon-musk-offers-to-buy-twitter
  7. I worked for Piggly Wiggly when they first started using Credit Card terminals way back in the mid 90's. There were fees back then. Fees were holding back retail (at least, grocery) from implementing credit cards. Here is an article showing typical merchant fees today: https://www.fool.com/the-ascent/research/average-credit-card-processing-fees-costs-america/ Visa: 1.29% + $0.05 to 2.54% + $0.10 Mastercard: 1.29% + $0.05 to 2.64% + $0.10 Discover: 1.48% + $0.05 to 2.53% + $0.10 American Express: 1.58% + $0.10 to 3.45% + $0.10 Some private schools would allow for credit card payments (beneficial if you got cash back and has a huge credit limit, I suppose). I heard they don't allow that anymore... ?
  8. I was waiting for him to walk up to the 1st tee and slap somebody. I would cheer for the guy if he had shown signs of regret instead of entitlement. I'm a softie for the people that struggled with something, overcame it, and then worked their way back to a good place. I don't see that with Tiger. At one point, he did dominate the game and expanded the market, so he was good for golf. Now, I sort of don't really care.
  9. It sort of brings a different spin on "one and done." Now, it not only applies to players going pro after one year, but it could mean entering the portal. One thing that is exciting is I believe Wisconsin is one of the upper-level programs. Quite a turnaround after the 80's and prior. I hear so many Badger fans talk about a lack of respect. We will see who comes to the program through the portal.
  10. I would disagree. On my desktop, it isn't so bad. I know it is only 15 seconds, but it is a nuisance for me on other sites.
  11. C'mon guys. You must not visit too many sites. The number of ads are tame compared to some sites. Being an older guy, I use a wheel mouse to scroll past the crazy amount of ads. The last thing you would want is to have a paywall (a la the Athletic). Logitech Wireless Mouse Brock -- keep up the good work.
  12. Zurch is on the right track for sure. I have seen similar things happen if the BIOS gets corrupted or if your internal CMOS battery is starting to go. However, that shouldn't be affecting the Windows drivers like you are describing. HP might have a BIOS upgrade utility you could use via a USB flash drive. I am not well versed with HP laptops, but perhaps there is a utility you can download from them that will analyze your system. I use Dell laptops and they have something like that. Hopefully that helps.
  13. Could I put in a request to not have the floating DIV that has video that follows me everywhere? So many of the sites I visit will start with the video and if I have the sound on, the people in my online meeting hear sports talk right away... ?‍♀️
  14. LOL! I have heard a lot of good things about Nord. $80 for two years seems very reasonable especially for six devices. Perhaps I could get another router that I could flash with DD-WRT and we could connect to that Wi-Fi connection to make it more transparent. Thanks for the advice.
  15. Isn't that still subject to blackout restrictions? We subscribed last year and didn't get to see any local Brewers games broadcast by Bally's.
  16. England US Iran Scotland / Wales / Ukraine Should be fun.
  17. Angel Hernandez disagrees with you... ?
  18. Is it me, or does the World Cup Mascot look like Krillen from Dragonball Z? It is probably just me...
  19. So, how many scholarship players will they have left?
  20. The real highlight yesterday was Giannis starting his presser with a Dad Joke...
  21. It is interesting how many people I know say, "Soccer is boring." I got roped into coaching it when my kids were younger and became a student of the game. Then you get other people saying how, "Baseball is boring." Perhaps soccer isn't as boring as some people think. When I watch UEFA Champions League or World Cup qualifiers, the fans are akin to the student section at Camp Randall. It is also cool at the World Cup Qualifiers how you can hear the fans sing their national anthem. Too bad that doesn't happen in the US.
  22. I was trying to send a message to somebody and it says I am only allowed to send zero messages per day. Is messaging a feature on the site?
  23. Two words: "The Oscars" Geesch!
