  1. I'm not sure what to get signed either. I thought about getting a big stick and let him sign it in silver and it would look really cool. Then on the other hand, I think it'd be real easy to get a ball.
  2. Games open at 5, so what time do most people start getting in line for a bobblehead game? Is getting there @ 4 too early?
  3. I guess Molitor is signing before the game for an hour and 15 minutes. I think if the gates open at 5:30, do you think getting there at 4:30 would guarantee an auto? I'm not even sure where they sign anyway. I haven't been to a t-rats game in awhile. Thanks
  4. Was there a lot of people in line? Obviously, the Molitor line will be longer, but I'm trying to gauge how early to go.
  5. Do you guys know how early one should get in line to get his auto at the T-rats game? I'd like to get a bat if possible. Also, if you have two tickets, does that mean two auto's? I'm asking because I doubt it.
  6. I'm seriously going to have to question DM skills if he can't figure out that Parra needs to be sent down. Burns could pitch better than this.
  7. Personally I don't understand what the big deal about Escobar is. Sure he plays great "D", but offensively he leaves much to be desired. He has a career minor league OPS of .706 and has never OPS'd over .800. I worry that he'll be nothing but a light hitting good defense SS. I'd much rather hold onto Hardy and trade Escobar, although I understand financially that could be difficult. If Escobar is having his best year this year, how is that fair to bring up his past numbers when he was 19,20,21...etc I understand that's really all you can go off of, but this could the year he's starting to put it together offensively. Wasn't Ozzie Smith a light hitting good defense SS?
  8. If we do trade for Peavy, wouldn't it make sense for them to ask for Escobar? Can anyone see DM giving up a cheap player like him for the next few years? I have no problem trading JJ, but I'm paranoid about trading Escobar.
  9. Doug, don't just get a rental player. I understand we need a starter, but we need to be able to resign this pitcher.
  10. And here is where I get nervous that we are trading Escobar. Please don't do it Doug.
  11. While true that stolen bases aren't usually a big factor in making a big impact, if he could get on before Brauny or Prince (I don't know if Macha would bat him that high) he could ignite the offense quite a bit. Of course, JJ could ignite the offense just as quickly with power. I just think that the difference between a starting pitcher over Parra would be bigger than Hardy over Escobar. The only thing that I dislike about JJ is his speed. I hate the double plays before our big hitters get up to bat.
  12. Russell the "Muscle"
  13. We don't know if that would be the case. Most likely yes, but if Alcides steals 15+ bases or so in that time and bats .240 we could have a better player. We all know about the argument about defense and who's more likely better..etc
  14. So what exactly are Uecker seats? I know they are obstructed views seats, but what are some examples of them?
  15. Hey guys, looking for a retro from today's game. I will trade 2 regulars for one retro, so let me know if you are interested. Thanks
  16. I use a padded envelope within a padded envelope and it has worked fine for me.
  17. Is there any way that the Brewers bring up Escobar to play 2nd anytime soon? His BA is close to .290 now and climbing.
  18. I think it's a steep price too. We all know his potential, but $35 is silly, imo. I was really lucky to get him TTM or I would still be looking for his auto.
  19. Uecker was on with Brian and Bill and he said they are planning on doing major league 4 pretty soon. Glad to see they are reviving it.
  20. Wait, you mean righties? He hits lefties really well.
  21. I'm pretty sure he had a throwing error in the last week. (#8) Comparing Brauny to Gamel in general just seems off base. I'm sure some people have seen Gamel in person, but most are just looking at his error totals instead of mechanics which isn't a great indicator at talent.
  22. Does Hoffman have a team option on his contract next year? It's so nice going into the 9th with a lead and knowing you're going home happy.
  23. And you should take that verbal "abuse" in your home ballpark because? I'm not saying we should start fights, but every discussion doesn't have to end in a fight does it? Also, if someone says something early in the game and you get into an argument maybe that person will shutup and allow everyone to enjoy the game. Probably wishful thinking.
  24. I want to complement ESPN for calling Weeks as one of 3 players on the decline at 2B to start the season. Fantastic as always.
