Well, bummer that we were 1-2 in watching STL games this year, but 21-8 overall is nothing to sneeze at. I was hoping at first that the Westbrook hit would go foul, but that was at least the third hit I've seen him get vs. Milwaukee (going back to his Cleveland days), so I was only mildly surprised. Frankly, I was more irritated by the C-Patt double. Here's hoping Yo can be the stopper today; and I'm still grateful to be in a position where we as fans feel we need a "stopper" after a two-game skid, with a fairly substantial division lead on September 1.

A quick word in advance of tonight's game: I think most everyone who participated in or even just read Tuesday's IGT learned how quickly an issue can become white-hot, for both moderators and posters. We know this is an emotionally-charged series (both rival-wise and standings-wise), but keep the discussion civil; and don't resort to personal insults and name-calling, whether directed at Brewers who probably will never see this thread or posters and moderators who will. We're all ultimately on the same side, and unless one of you is a super-secret insider, we all have the same (nonexistent) level of influence over the path the Brewers take to succeed. Besides, I don't want to get back from MP at 1:00 AM and not be able to post in the IGT because it's locked. So chinabob, can you alert us to when a Story Hill house is for sale? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif I should put that in blue since it would be a heck of a commute to our Madison jobs, but there are times when being able to just walk from home and be home in less than two hours would be pretty sweet.
