  1. He did that Friday, and said he was going to keep it up Saturday because they won Friday. Since they lost Sunday, if he was going to change again he probably would have done so Monday.
  2. http://rlv.zcache.com/85_eighty_five_red_alarm_clock_digital_number_button-p145551605073868737tmn2_210.jpg
  3. At least SF saving Lincecum for tonight has paid off for the Brewers...in a backhanded way.
  4. You're outta shape, man. This isn't the brewers19 I remember.
  5. I was hoping they could save Trevor for tomorrow night. Edit: One pitch save...that'll do! What I was originally going to say on the edit was that the Brewers Radio Network has lately begun playing part of Hells Bells when Trevor comes out. Nice.
  6. Oh, Ueck. Why did you think a Sheffield HR would stop the booing? Even I bust out the boos when he's around.
  7. Ah, bensheeps, you know I think of you now every time Bill succeeds. Someone convince me that we weren't stupid to sell our tickets for tonight's game in favor of Tuesday's game.
  8. Two hits and two RBI for Bill Hall? Are these the end days? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  9. I"m not doubting you, Ennder, but I'm a little astonished that the Brewers have managed to scuffle their way to double digit wins this month.
  10. Just saying, I don't think it would be against site rules. That doesn't mean you have to post it if you'd rather not, TheCrew07.
  11. We went to the UW-Madison campus this evening to watch the rain-dated Rhythm & Booms. We watched from Observatory Hill, as we've done for years. This year UW police did not block off Observatory Drive (as they have in the past), so traffic zoomed through during the whole show - including a bunch of tall SUVs, one work truck hauling a trailer, and a cab complete with flashing roof sign. Also, one party who was parked on Observatory Drive just to our west decided to turn on their vehicle (another large SUV, though this would have been irritating with any vehicle), headlights ablaze, idled there for a minute, and then slowly pulled out - all with about two minutes left in the show (during the 1812 Overture, for those of you who have seen this before). If you're going to beat the traffic, why not leave sooner? Why wait until the highlight of the show? The noise, motion and lights all were disruptive to viewers seated on the upper part of the hill. This makes me disappointed in people. I hate obliviousness.
  12. At least today I was distracted by the pleasure of having my nephew in the park, and regular visits from bensheeps' son. We also got to see the inside of the field level first aid station (for a minor injury), and rode a service elevator up to the club level. 0-4 for June, with Tuesday's game coming up. When that one's over, I think I will celebrate the end of the month.
  13. The month of June has seen the Brewers' record on the hawing ticket plunge from a very feel-good 8-1 to 8-5...with Tuesday's game coming up yet.
  14. I feel terrible that upon reading this (yet another non sports item I learned about from Brewerfan), I immediately imagined people delivering eulogies IN A CONSTANT SHOUTING TONE. Despite that snarky knee jerk reaction, I do consider myself an "every man's death diminishes me" type of person, and wish his survivors well.
  15. Haudricourt is on this bandwagon. Decide for yourselves whether that's good news or bad. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif As some of you might guess, I'm open to this idea. My Doug Davis game-worn jersey would have some of its relevance restored! (but not all of it, since I'm pretty sure he wouldn't get #49 back)
  16. Yeah, though I think it might have been briefer yet: "...brought to you by Miller Lite - I need one!" I laughed out loud and startled the cats.
  17. And you're funny, too. Welcome. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif DeRosa to STL is like the trillionth reason for me to dislike STL. I'll take some solace tonight in realizing cub nation is probably more upset yet.
  18. On that, we can certainly agree.
  19. For the call of that Cam catch, Cory was sounding downright Daron-esque. Only this time the robust call was warranted. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Edit: Listen here.
  20. Cory Provus had some himself tonight. If you can get postgame audio, it's certainly worth a listen tonight. Please, everyone, if you're sure the game is over before the score goes final, just say so once - and then exit the forum for the night. Let those of us who enjoy following games to the end do so in relative peace. I'm saying this as a Brewers fan, not as an administrator. Thank you.
  21. Dear Prince:....you know. Please? Thanks. hawing Edit: http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  22. He timed his leap perfectly and brought the ball back from over the wall. Cory Provus' call is a must-listen in the post-game show or on Sportsbubbler. He's basically just yelling. If that's not the top web gem of the night, I can only imagine what would be.
