  1. Man there is no urgency here at all.
  2. This is why going for 2 was dumb. We're gonna be down 8 after the fg
  3. If you snap the ball at 1 sec on the play clock every time, the pass rushers are gonna get off the ball pretty fast
  4. Wow. To have the presence to reach back and snag that ball. Unreal.
  5. Well... game on. Defense is gonna have to do its thing now.
  6. Adams wide open out there but doesn't look like Rodgers looked that way.
  7. I believe that’s correct. 4 for the Packers, 1 for the Brewers, and 1 for the Bucks as it stands. 2 for the Brewers. 2011 and 2018.
  8. whoof. Terrible throw by Tampa Tom. Needed that in such a huge way.
  9. Adams dropping that TD pass when he beat his man and settling for the FG in the 2nd quarter is where the wheels on the bus got a little wobbly. Let's get a stop now and see where this goes.

  11. Savage played that alright, Godwin just made a lucky as heck catch.
  12. I predicted pack/bills at the start of all this and I'm sticking with it. They're playing good ball at the right time. Last weeks boring as hell game against the Ravens notwithstanding
  13. I think that's a fair criticism. He was a great drafter, and didn't like to add via FA. He added the occasional piece here or there, it seemed when absolutely necessary, and the critics of the criticism will point out that "free agency doesn't usually work out in the NFL", but I think it's fair to point out that it sure felt like Thompson had a pretty narrow minded view of team building mechanics at times during his stay in GB. That being said, while I didn't necessarily agree with Thompson the GM, I did feel for the guy when it seemed like he was in declining health, and am sad to hear the news. 68 is still too young. RIP Ted.
  14. good golly that was a boring game to watch. The Ravens just never acted like they wanted any part of being active participants in the actual game itself, and the Bills just decided finally "well, we might as well win this.....we guess". Blame the wind or whatever, but jeesh, that was bad. I've seen a lot of defensive-struggle games that were fun to watch, this was not one of them.
  15. Same. Until the landscape of college sports changes in some fundamental way, us regularly making (and winning) NY6 bowls and making the sweet 16 is the Badgers "championship". We're not Bama, Ohio State, Duke or Kentucky. Tilting against that windmill year after year and wishing or demanding that it was different is an exercise in disappointment. It'd be great if the Badgers climbed that mountain and made the playoffs or won a National title in basketball (so close!), but if they don't, and I suspect they won't in my lifetime, I'm not going to stop being a fan because the deck is stacked against them. I like college sports. I choose to remain a fan, knowing that the landscape is unfair for most programs. It is what it is.
  16. I don't even know where to start with this. I'm so so so so glad the Bucks didn't have the assets to even begin to seriously pursue Harden.
  17. It would have been hilarious if he had gotten stripped before he went out of bounds and someone did a scoop and score
  18. As others have mentioned, Peterson let his team down. By not playing to win. Teams don't tank in the NFL like they do in the NBA. Look at the Jets. They have gone out the last several weeks and played their tails off and won games that nobody expected them to win. those players are playing for their NFL futures. The average NFL career is 3 years. If you don't show something on the field, you're out. The Bengals went out and beat the Steelers a few weeks ago. You can't tell me you can't tell anybody, that these guys don't care about winning. Peterson let down his team. And it will make a difference in the way that locker room looks at him as a leader. Yes, Jalen hurts was having a bad game. But he still has more talent in his pinky than Nate sudfeld has in his entire body. From that point in the game going forward, Jalen hurts gave the eagles the best chance to win. The eagles don't owe the Giants anything, but they owe it to themselves to try to win that game.
  19. Same. I switched to YouTube TV after PlayStation Vue died and I don't care, I will find other streaming ways or just listen to the radio for my sports that I can't get on FSN.
  20. Dillon had a couple of very nice catches tonight. One was a bad throw by Rodgers and he grabbed it off his shoestrings. A couple others were just nice hand-catches; he looked very natural there. Dillon had one catch for 5 yards on one target.
