  1. You can have worse in a coach, and I made that argument myself when we had Bert Bielema and people were calling for him to get fired. That being said, knowing that Chryst isn't "the worst" D1 coach (maybe) doesn't mean a team with the aspirations WI should have should settle for a guy like Chryst who honestly, really sucks at in-game management. He's a good recruiter. But he's honestly, a terrible in game manager, and today was a really stark reminder of that. Should he be fired? Obviously I'm not going to say yeah he should or no he shouldn't, but I think the UW athletic leadership needs to take a look at where this program is, right now and ask have a serious conversation with Chryst about the direction, because this season's potential was derailed almost entirely by bad coaching.
  2. Welp. Might as well punt!
  3. Dude, JUST GO for it. If you don't get it, you lose 30 - 13 instead of 23 - 13. Who cares??? Loser. What the actual heck????
  4. WHY??? What in the world CHryst???
  5. a score here is going to all but ice this game.
  6. I mean, he hit it true, right down the middle. Just left it literally 4 inches short.
  7. Allen has been super tentative tonight. Offense can't operate this one-dimensionally. I have no idea why Chryst hasn't put Schipper in or Davis to try to get SOME kind of run game going, because this isn't working.
  8. Hearing Tillman refer to the field as "Water" 39 times tonight has been mentally exhausting.
  9. Which is very unfortunate, because they have essentially nothing to play for and we have everything to play for. I think that's underestimating how much playing for that big stupid axe means to these guys.
  10. bad call on the PI aside, defense is just getting roasted on the deep ball. Leaving the middle of the field open, not getting home on the pass rush enough to make any kind of difference, and CB's aren't making plays.
  11. Cincy has to be rooting for Auburn today, because they're gonna get jumped by Michigan after today.
  12. 2 weeks in a row Pryor has just completely whiffed on a very catchable deep ball.
  13. Minnesota's offense isn't this good that we should be letting them chew up yards like this.
  14. There's a momentum swinger.
  15. It absolutely was. Was the wide receiver off the line? Everybody inside was certainly on the line. I'm fairly convinced you don't think WI commits penalties, ever. The hold on Chenal earlier when he tackled and dragged the guy down was a blatant hold, and this illegal formation was pretty obvious. If you think it wasn't, cool, but every flag on WI, you say the zebras are having a bad game.
  16. It absolutely was.
  17. Don't forget Franklin. Franklin is a good (not great) coach. PJ Fleck is just a weirdo with a gimmick.
  18. Minny's defense is just shooting themselves in the foot on this drive.
  19. It's so weird that I hate PJ Fleck more than Harbaugh, Kirk Ferentz, or literally anyone else in college football. He's such an annoying twit.
  20. Not sure why Allen spun out of there.. he had the first down
  21. That sucks.
  22. Agree with this. I know Cincy has played a pretty weak schedule (they did beat Notre Dame) and at times hasn't looked dominant, but they ran the table and have a +24 ppg average. I don't think they're one of the four "best" teams, but if Ohio State has two losses, I look at losing either today or in the B10 title game (lol) as an eliminator, and they just don't deserve to be in the playoff.
  23. Badgers would have a far better chance stopping the Michigan run game then they would the Ohio State passing game. Especially indoors on turf. Badgers hung tough with Michigan for 2 1/2 quarters before they had any kind of offensive identity at all. I'd like a rematch with Michigan now that we've developed a strong run game and Mertz is at least playing not terribly. Like you said, I don't think they can do much to slow down Ohio St's air attack. Also, if Ohio State loses today, they're out of the playoffs, and that makes me happy as heck. So I'm pulling for Michigan for multiple reasons.
  24. Win #6 in a row for the Bucks tonight. Nice road win in Denver. I don't think anyone was really too concerned that they'd get it together and start stringing together some wins once they started getting guys back. They are who we thought they were...... Defending world champs, :D
  25. I wonder what the fine/penalty would be from MLB if they found out something like this was going on. So..... no. There is no fine that the richest owner in baseball can't pay and if you know anything about Cohen this is the type of thing he would be willing to do. I believe that Stearns has more class than to be working as a double GM this offseason but I wouldn't completely rule it out especially with the way Cohen has run his main business. MLB could suspend Stearns for a year. They could strip draft picks. There's more that they could do than just fine the Mets. So.... no.
