    97 was a fun season, or as fun a season as a Brewer fan could have in those times. Brewers were as close as 2.5 games back on September 2nd. Watching Jones float those slow-as-heck changeups up there that mystified batter after batter was something else.

    Not sure what Happ has to do with the 2021 Badgers.... but ok. Badgers look pretty tough right now. They're not gonna score a lot of points on any given night, but the defense is definitely there, and Davis looks like the real deal. I'm not ready to venture a guess on how they'll do in B10 play, but they look like a team that's gonna compete hard on any given night. Yeah, they're small, but they play tough, hard ball, and as others have said, the guards get in there and play for boards. Minimizing turnovers and slowing down the pace of the game can also reduce the impact of a rebounding deficit. I think they're gonna be ok.

    After the rough start the Bucks are now one game back of the 2nd spot in the eastern conference. They still don't have Lopez or DDV back yet, so they're in pretty good shape, I think. Portis has really been playing solid ball. His defense isn't the same as what Lopez can do as a rim protector, but he definitely adds a little bit more than B Lopez as an all around scorer at this point in his career, and he's a better boarder.

    That may be true, but has nothing to do at all with his playing career. be that as it may, it's up to each individual voter if they want to consider character, and schillings character is left wanting.

    everything hill does, a regular position player can do better. it can be argued that his versatility is nice to have in case of injuries, but 40 million for a guy that gets about 70 to 100 touches a year as a gadget backup is a lot of money

    I saw this comment on F-B today and I thought "no way".... but digging a little deeper....... There's no QB establishing himself head and shoulders above everyone else. Taylor has 15 Touchdowns now in 11 games. He's leading the NFL in rushing. He's basically put the Colts on his back and carried them into playoff contention. He's averaging a ludicrous 5.8 YPC. That's nearly unheard of in the NFL for a feature back. I think there's a strong case to be made here.

    jungle cruise was exactly what I expected out of a Rock/Disney event movie. lots of action scenes, not a deep plot, etc. it wasn't bad, it wasn't great. just a popcorn flick designed to entertain and not make you think too much.

    I don't know what else they Packers could do with the roughing the passer the VIkes commited. They already got the TD. You can say "it's not fair", but it's inherently going to be that way.

    Thought that was the correct call. Was it? Sure. Are non-Packer fans going to scream their heads off that it probably wasn't? I bet they are. Does the perception that the Packers got a gift go up? I'm sure it does.
