  1. C'mon, #1 is pretty silly. Forget that Douglas was under contract with the Raiders all summer, if they let king walk and signed Rasul Douglas as a starter they would have been ridiculed all summer. I don't think the Packers even thought he'd do what he's done. This just sounds like a really odd take, like some weird gymnastics to find a way to criticize a fantastic midseason signing. Actually believing this would require someone to think they knew in the spring that Rasul Douglas was an upgrade to King. I personally believe that a piece of debris randomly blowing across the field at any given time would be an upgrade over King, so, I mean, there you go.
  2. The other way you can look at it is this. The Packers scored 21 points against the Bears in one half, and are somehow down 6.
  3. No, because our special teams, have been, are, and will continue to be, hot trash.
  4. unreal. I mean, the Bears are outplaying the Packers by a large margin, and have a 3 point lead. That's gotta be somewhat demoralizing.
  5. Cut M. Taylor at halftime as well.
  6. I mean, no hyperbole, not being sarcastic, just fire the special teams coach, legit, at halftime. Just seriously do it.
  7. Brian Kelly could suggest something.....
  8. Man... however many ways you want to say it, our special teams are spectacularly bad.
  9. I just want an actual #2 WR. I've been saying this for a few years but for some reason I get ratioed for it. I've known it for a few years. I don't say it very often, so that doesn't happen to me.
  10. bills in very real danger of not making the playoffs.
  11. I couldn't believe it when the Astros gave him that deal, and now we have guys like Tatis and Wander Franco getting deals like they're getting, and it's NBD.
  12. Seems to be the general feeling. Hard to believe a company that big can have such poor customer service and survive. I haven't seen or heard anyone say differently though, so obviously it's a problem. about 10 years ago tds outsourced all of their tier 1 support and sales to an offshore company. not only that, they shipped a bunch of people there for several weeks to train their replacements. half my "I want to speak to a supervisor"; escalations were from people who couldn't understand the person they were talking to. tds doesn't care. cheap labor.
  13. I went to the charter office in Janesville 4 or 5 years ago to change out a box and I was the only person in the office. they made me take a number from the kiosk, and 5 minutes later the dude at the counter looked around and called my name hesitantly. dude. I am. the only. person. here. I think it was about 2 or 3 months later I went through the painstaking hassle of cancelling with them. it's a neck and neck race between charter, tds, and DirecTV to see who can have the most abysmally bad customer service.
  14. a smart tv and a laptop. or a fire stick or just the smart tv and 5 minutes to set it up. you're convinced there's all this crazy next gen gear required, and there just isn't. but hey.... everyone do what's best for them
  15. and here we are, with the Patriots sitting on the #1 seed. yaaaay.....
  16. "for participating in charitable causes"
  17. it took Moose 1/3 of a season to put up -1 war. unless the goal is to become demonstrably worse as a team, no way they should be chasing guys like this in their 30's.
  18. The Lions were 0-10-1 coming in. They had nothing to lose by going for it.
  19. well.... for what it's worth both players have absolutely 0 trade value, according to the calculator, so technically, it's "fair". I'd do it. not sure if the nats would.
  20. I think it's relevant to point out that every job, every position, and every coach should be criticized and praised for his own merits and failures, not just "coach X has a better win % than coach Y or Z, therefore is better". I'm not going to get into the Coach CHryst debate in this thread, as it's not the place for it. I will say that Michigan fans had every right to question keeping Harbaugh around given his record against their cross-border rival. Good for him. He got it done this year. He's 1-9 against OSU, and fair or not, that's one of the measuring sticks for success at Michigan.
