    Tom H just tweeted the Brewers are basically out of the running for Hamilton because he looks to be getting fair market value

    Marquette should be competitive this year and definitely fun to watch. And being a big Duke fan, its awesome seeing them beat two top 3 teams already this year. If their freshman can improve throughout the year they will be a championship contender for sure.

    I just srarted a bathroom renovation, and am potentially looking for a new tile guy. They would need to take down the tile & walls in the shower and then retile, along with replacing the floor tile as well. Its a very small bathroom, but our only bathroom, so timing is very important. Other than that I am looking for someone who is reliable and will do good work for a fair price. If anyone is in this trade or has any recommendations, please let me know. Thanks!

    Exactly. And you never know what the going rates will be for a top or middle tier player. Rodgers might go for $40 in 1 league and $55 in another. If you stick to a price on the top tier guys they may all pass you by!

    I love putting a good kicker up first. Not a top 3-5 kicker necessarily , but a kicker you would be fine spending $1 on. This means either you get a good kicker for $1 or you make someone else spend >$1 on a kicker which could cone back to haunt them in the end. Also, once i solidify a certain position, I will put players up at that position to make people spend money on players i don't need.

    I admittedly haven't watched as many games as I normally do, mainly because of my new job. But why in the world is this guy still on our team? I've seen about 6 ABs of his this weekend (I'm pretty sure at least 5 of the ABs were strikeouts), and every time it looks like he basically has no clue and has no chance of putting the ball in play,much less getting a hit. And what's up with the excessive blinking? Can he see? (If he has some eye problem I apologize for my insensitivity. Don't we have better bench options in the minors, or will he be gone after September callups?

    No mentions of RRR directly influencing the last 2 Brewer victories? (pinch running gomez, squeezing with Aoki) Some of those decisions may seem to be no brainers, but most mangers wouldn't have done either.

    Random fact. When we went to Boston in '08, the first thing we did was go to a Fenway bar for lunch. I wanted a Boston beer, so i instinctively ordered a Sam's Boston lager. I then found Sam's is brewed in Pennsylvania, not in Massachusetts. Bummer

    Freedom trail for sure. Fenway tour also. I recommend a short bus trip to Harvard campus for a meal at some point
