  1. Looks like its off sale now-Amazon changes things a lot during these sales. Here's the main sale page: http://www.amazon.com/gp/...Q04N18QX8FTMB&pf_rd_t=101 Persona 3 FES with full art book and soundtrack for $19.95 is a steal.
  2. McClung is a high strikeout, guy, the problem is he's even higher walk guy. McClung's new found "control" had him at 4.7 BB/9. He's a slightly above replacement level pitcher. Coffey is a below average pitcher who had 7 good innings in September.
  3. Amazon is continuing Black Friday type deals today (11/29): Power Pros 2008 for PS2 $6.95 The Bigs for PS2 $4.95 The Bigs for Xbox 360 $9.95 MLB 2K8 for Xbox 360 $9.95 Power Pros 2008 for Wii $14.95 MLB 2K8 for Wii $19.95 The Bigs for Wii $9.95
  4. Based on what? A rumor spread in an online chat with no source?
  5. That seems really high for a used Fit even given the lack of new ones. Same with the Scion. That said if you can wait a bit that better you'll be as the sales will really start to happen soon. There are also a bunch of other cars you might want to consider: Toyota Yaris Nissan Versa Suzuki SX4 Mazda 3 Mitsubishi Lancer Then you get into used Sentras, Corollas, etc.
  6. Its really hard to say how serious this is. This could all be some guy speculating that Powell could come home. Sort of like how people think the Brewers must be dying to get Washburn because he's "local".
  7. No. And I see no way he plays 6-7 more years to get 3000 hits.
  8. Thats' 4 ABs!
  9. While possible, half these bizarre injuries are just covers for contract voiding activities.
  10. The Royals don't like DeJesus in CF. That is entirely different than not liking DeJesus. Most likely they'd rather have DeJesus than Teahen or Guillen. Guillen is untradeable for his contract and well being an ass. Teahen might be tradeable because he's cheap.
  11. Errors are a terrible way to measure how good a defender is.
  12. CF, he's three wins above average in LF making him a top flight defender in left.
  13. See I'd rather have a player make the most plays and not get hung up on Eckstein like qualities.
  14. David DeJesus is estimated at 3 wins above average in LF and 3 wins below average in CF. Braun shouldn't be in CF
  15. How is that the same? Branyan got a whopping 152 PAs last year. You could easily double that. Hall got 448, you can remove 150 of those.
  16. Never, ever trust what anyone at Gamestop/EB Games(same company) says, especially around the holidays when they have a bunch of temps working. The game nows ships Dec 22. If you want, one of Wal Mart's doorbuster's this Friday is an Arcade 360+ GHIII for $199.
  17. Nope, that's signed free agent can't be traded until June 15th or something like that.
  18. Those with a Silver Acct, check the related email, MS is giving you 400 free points if you sign up for a gold account before nov 30th
  19. The Yankees have as much money coming off their books as the Brewers have payroll (with the Dodgers not far behind). Signing Derek Lowe won't change anything.
  20. Yes Glaus might age and become as bad as Hardy. Of course you still have what you got from Hardy to push it up over the top.
  21. PMR's have Dejesus at -28.53 runs per 4000 plays. So they have Dejesus's defense at about 3 wins below average.
  22. Of the three big close position players of Gamel, Salome , and Escobar, Gamel is the one that seems leat lkely to betraded. Even if he doesn't stick at 3B, the Brewers maybe shortly looking for a corner OFer or 1B depending on how they deal with Hart and Fielder. Salome is basically a catcher with the Brewers but if he doesn't stick he's a DH and that means trading him, Escobar is behind a better player and depending on how the Brewers deal with Hardy Escobar might be gone.
  23. If the Brewers sign Hardy to a long term deal its to play SS. If they want a solid 3B sign Glaus or Beltre after this season. Or give Gamel a chance. But Hardy at $12-15m (or more) a year to play 3B is foolish.
  24. Weeks projects better than anyone else in that deal next year and costs the least in addition to being a 2B.
