  1. One thing I'd like to see in baseball is for the draft to be adjusted so that great players don't trickle down to the rich winning teams solely because they're able to pay more.
  2. Doesn't Rolen have a bloated contract too? Can't say this trade makes sense to me from the Reds prospective
  3. Tim Cuprisin was worth following, even if only for his videos from the Journal Sentinel "weather deck"
  4. I wish Milwaukee would get a half/full day of rain.
  5. Is YOUNT available?
  6. Hopefully this doesn't work out for the Cubs as well as Reed Johnson did.
  7. We got 5.375% in April on a 30-year-fixed loan. I can't remember what the closing costs were because the seller covered them, but it was less than $3K
  8. I think there should be a punishment for teams or possibly coaches. It just seems that there are certain coaches whose players have more connections to steroids than others. For coaches and teams have the punishment increase dramatically with each additional player that tests positive. The first player that tests positive on the team causes a fine of say $50,000 and 5-10 game suspension for the coach. The second one $250,000 and 25 games.
  9. I've seen almost every episode, though the last 10 minutes or so are what really make it worth watching. That said, they got the ninja vs. Spartan so wrong, so very wrong.
  10. That's what happens when you find a stranger in the alps.
  11. Mat "The Gavel" Gamel, because he hammers out justice.
  12. For Wisconsin residents outside of the five county area, would you prefer the team stick with Brewers? Does it make it more of a "state" team? Personally, while I'm not that worried about the Brewers leaving at this point, having Milwaukee on the jerseys makes the team feel a little more permanent.
  13. I hope the Admirals step it up on Saturday. Tonight it just seemed like the Aeros were trying harder.
  14. Not sure if this is what you're looking for but, the Arby's in Cudahy (5965 S Packard Ave, Cudahy) seems pretty old (it's also visible in google street view, if you want to check it out).
  15. I can't wait to go to one of the second round games. It sounds like the Admirals were really on last night.
  16. The show "Sports Science" actually tried to test whether players do better with their manager or coach yelling at them or encouraging them. It wasn't that scientific but the player actually hit more free throws when they were yelled at after every shot. So Macha just needs to stand next to the pitchers while they're going and yell at them to throw strikes.
  17. I'd have to check, but while healthy, I'm pretty sure that Bogut started putting up better numbers this year.
  18. Is there a more used cliche than that in all of sports? "It is what it is" has to be the most common.
  19. My guess is that Dunder Mifflin ends up buying out Michael's business, if only to get his contact info. The opening of the second episode with the clips from the new office were hilarious.
  20. It seemed to me like his decision to put Kevin on the phones and Stanley in charge of productivity was to show how tone deaf he was in seeing the staff's abilities. Kelly would make the most sense to fill in at reception, but he just assumed anyone could fill in. When he gets let go, they need to have him touring a real estate development.
  21. The one thing I could think of relating anxiety and blood would be diabetes.
  22. Glad to see he's still in the organization.
  23. It looks like the Journal has extra sets for sale.
  24. Kendall should come with a wooly willie magnetic beard.
  25. Seth McClung stepped up when we needed him to.
