    Take on all of Greinke and it might not be too crazy. I posed this on Twitter the other day. One stop shopping in Arizona: Zack Greinke, Robbie Ray and Archie Bradley If the Brewers could eat a substantial amount of the 2 years+ $80m+ left on Greinke's deal, might Arizona be willing to deal Ray and Bradley for a lesser prospect package. I still think it would cost Dubon, Ray and Lutz type package but, if the financials work, I think that trade immediately vaults the Brewers above the Cubs and Cardinals in the Central. A rotation that has a top 3 of Woodruff, Ray and Greinke would be real nice. I LOVE this idea...I would change one thing though, instead of Bradley, how about Chafin instead?? Probably the best LH reliever available.

    You would certainly think so...particularly the Brewers and their need for a Pitcher Tomm night. I don't think it's coincidence that they are not announcing it until closer to game time. That could mean Stearns felt like he had enough momentum to get something done by today and have that acquisition Pitch Tuesday or Wednesday

    I have this strange feeling Stearns is going to surprise us all and pull a rabbit out of the hat. Like, I have this feeling he is going to end up acquiring someone that no one even knew was available.

    No way they are selling Moose or Grandal for anything other than immediate pitching help. That's the priority.

This makes their starters (Syndergaard and Wheeler) more valuable in trade discussions with teams in need of starters.

    Davies is terrible, I've never liked him, not sure why so many are keen on him.

    Davies has to go 0-2 to start a batter and quickly get to 3-2 faster than most pitchers in the league..it's so maddening watching him pitch.
