  1. Honestly, if the ONLY move DS made this year was to bring in a competent SS, and ignored the Pitching, I'd be okay with that, simply because I'm so tired of watching Arcia.
  2. Was thinking the same thing...LOL @ Counsell..last night he PH for him in a big spot(which was 100% the right call), now tonight he lets him hit. Baffling.
  3. One thing I've noticed over the last few years as the Brewer hitters handle velocity better than they handle movement. I don't have stats to back it up but it would be interesting to see the Brewers batting percentage against fast balls versus betting percentage versus off speed. That's probably true, but with as often as they see them, they should know what to look for, where to look for it, what the pitches will do etc. You can only vary things so much when you see a Pitcher that often. Now, if they have dominant stuff, that's a different story, but none of those guys do.
  4. Again, why is it these Cubs Pitchers always baffle the Brewers when they see them as much as anyone, yet they struggle against other teams that don't see them nearly as often. Makes zero sense.
  5. It's maddening to me that Counsell repeatedly has such a short leash with Chase..He's pulled him early when he's been throwing well, I just don't get it, at all. I'm with everyone else as well, PHng Shaw against a lefty?? Why?? You never used him against lefties before unless you absolutely had to.
  6. Just like your thoughts on who we could get for our prospects, you’ve swung and missed, again. Man, you have had a terrible week around here. Do you have intimate knowledge of WHO they can or can't get for their prospects?? Yeah that's what i thought. You don't. Now I really want to see them make a big move so I can watch you squirm and go off and pout about how they didn't sell Grandal and Moose. I've had a fine week here, thanks.
  7. Jon Heyman @JonHeyman · 6m Sergio Romo is headed to the Twins in trade Jon Heyman @JonHeyman · 54s Marlins get 1B prospect Lewin Diaz in Romo deal. Stellar d, power
  8. That's always baffled me too, other teams hit them around pretty good at times, yet they all look like Cy Young winners against the crew
  9. And I'm 100% certain if they do end up making a deal of some significance, you will be leading the "they way overpaid" parade and saying they should have "sold".
  10. But you HAVE TO realize, you're saying that you're ok trading off people that have either little value or whose value is massively depressed (Burnes). You're not getting significant pieces for our crap. But YOU have to realize, you just don't know how another GM might value those pieces. No one does. Maybe someone loves Freddy and Burnes, and that brings back more than anyone thinks it can. Or maybe, some GM's would prefer a package of major league ready players with some upside(which all of them cept Pina and maybe Thames have), rather than taking back prospects. Maybe Arcia is highly regarded by certain GM's. None of us know any of that. Some GM's may prefer quantity over quality. They all have value, but none of us know how much. Look how cheap Diekman went.
