Yes but it seems like no one wants to trade wit hthe Yankees, and that's fine with me.
  2. Brewcrewin07
And we want to trade him? I hope against all hope that we keep this kid... He'll look nice in left field for the next 6 years. If they can get a TOR arm that's controllable for him as part of a package, how the heck do you say no to that?? You can find OFers

I think they & the Mets are baffling everyone.. I haven't seen anymore on what the Reds or Padres putting into the RUMORED 3 team trade but I have to think there is something of significance heading (either package or single player) back to Cleveland to part ways with Bauer.. Which then could set the wheels in motion for a Brewers-Padres trade of some sort.

That would be an incredible buzzkill if true. If they don't get another good starter, they are toast the rest of this year. Yeah it just seems like there are twice as many buyers as sellers, everyone is looking for pitching, and almost everyone can offer better prospects than we can. But all the rumblings are that teams aren't willing to give up their top prospects. Robert Murray said yesterday that Dubon was drawing "significant" interest.

Jon Morosi @jonmorosi · Jul 30 #Braves have acquired Chris Martin from #Rangers for Kolby Allard, source confirms @Ken_Rosenthal and @JeffPassan reports. @MLB @MLBNetwork
  7. Brewcrewin07
    He did
  8. Brewcrewin07
Probably true...I'm just searching/hoping for anything right now...want them to pull off at least one deal of substance, if not two or three.
  9. Brewcrewin07
But why would he start?? he could have just as easily come in out of the bullpen, if he was only going to throw 35 pitches. Especially when you consider you can very easily make the case he wasn't even injured to begin with. Think he only went on IL because he was repeatedly getting shelled and they wanted to put him on the shelf for a bit.
  10. Brewcrewin07
Kind of odd they would only let him go two innings and 35 pitches
  11. Brewcrewin07
Was just going to post this...went two innings and threw 35 pitches...PH for By Thomas Jankins, who I think was originally supposed to start tonight.
  12. Brewcrewin07
If he brings back a #1 or #2 controllable starter, it is WELL worth it IMO.
  13. Brewcrewin07
Was just coming here to post that! Atta boy Trent! Nothing like raising your value even more the night before the deadline!
  14. Brewcrewin07
Grisham just hit another HR, Atta baby, keep raising that value before tomorrow Trent!
  15. Brewcrewin07
Yup, to be honest I'm a bit disappointed/surprised both Dubon and Grisham are in San Antonio's lineup tonight. That obviously means DS doesn't feel like he's close on anything at least Biggerish which I would assume either or both of those would be a part of. Now, they could still get pulled early #hugwatch, but I was really hoping one or both wouldn't be in the lineup.
  16. Brewcrewin07
Honestly a little surprised/disappointed that Grisham and Dubon are still both currently in the lineup for San Antonio. That's an indication DS doesn't really feel like he's close on anything at least involving those two, in which then I'd think it would be a bigger move. Now that's not to say they couldn't/won't get pulled early #hugwatch, but I was hoping one or neither would be in the lineup tonight.

Lineup: Cain Yelich Grandal Moose Hiura Thames Arcia Shaw Gamel It should be noted that Moose is DHing tonight with Shaw at third, this after a day off, and the last game of the Cubs series where Moose didn't even PH...Hmmm

Reds talking to Indians about Trevor Bauer....Huh?? Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal · Now #Reds among teams talking to #Indians about Trevor Bauer, sources tell The Athletic. Outfielder Taylor Trammell, one of CIN’s top prospects, among names under discussion. Trammell has regressed this season, batting .236 with a .688 OPS at Double A. @TheAthleticMLB .
  19. Brewcrewin07
Sounds more like Wheeler to the Astros if anyone.
  20. Brewcrewin07
As of now...Grisham and Dubon are both in the starting lineup for San Antonio..we will see if it stays that way as game time gets closer
  21. Brewcrewin07
Jon Morosi @jonmorosi · 13m Source tells me #Padres are the hub of a high percentage of trade talks across @MLB , buying and selling. Because they have such a deep farm system, they are acting as the clearinghouse for teams seeking prospect capital. @MLBNetwork
  22. Brewcrewin07
Robert Murray @ByRobertMurray · 1m #Brewers have talked to #Pirates about Keone Kela, sources tell The Athletic. Deal doesn’t appear imminent. Other teams involved.
  23. Brewcrewin07
Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal 26s More evidence #Mets do not intend to take step back: Sources say team is asking for major-league or major-league ready pieces for Syndergaard, even from clubs with top farm systems. In all honesty, the Brewers might be the best equipped of all contenders to be able to put something together(mostly because no one wants to sacrifice major league ready pieces).
  24. Brewcrewin07
I wonder if in said deal, we could send over arcia+. I agree i love the idea of getting both. I absolutely think you could send over Arcia..Honestly, this one makes almost too much sense...for both sides.
  25. Brewcrewin07
Thank You! No way to Mike Leake, how is he going to move the needle at all, other than he's a body to fill a spot in the rotation. That's it.
